CHITA Swivel Armchair, Barrel Accent Chair in Velvet Fabric for Living Room Round Chair with Metal Base, Fully Assembled, Blue

I've had CHITA's Aria swivel chair for two months, so it's time for my review. 1. To my eye, as a lover of modern furniture, this is a beautiful looking chair. 2. For the money (I paid $519 plus tax) it's a terrific value. It's comfortable (I'm 6 ft tall and weigh 220) for sitting for a long while. My wife, who's 5'4" also finds sitting in it very comfortable. I love that it swivels 360 degrees smoothly. I have it in my living room to the left of my coffee table, and adjacent to the couch, so guests can sit comfortably and talk to other guests who are sitting on the couch. 3. For watching my TV, without having to move or otherwise reposition the Aria chair, I can swivel the chair to face my screen. A big plus, because I had a heavy non-swivel chair before, and each time I wanted to watch TV, I had to either sit in a different place, or move the chair. 4. The fabric's look, and feel to the touch, is luxurious. I bought mine in blue. 5. Since I haven't gotten it dirty (and I don't have any pets) I cannot speak to the seller's claims about how easy it is to clean. 6. There are two things prospective buyers should know: a. the seat cushion is not removable. It isn't reversable (i.e., it can't be flipped over), and the fabric cover cannot be removed for cleaning. If the cushion gets ruined by a pet, a cigarette burn, a stubborn stain, etc., you can't remove it for cleaning or mending, nor can the cushion be flipped over to hide the problem, and b. because I weigh 220, at 54 lbs. the chair is a little light-- if I lean forward too much, the chair will tip forward-- not a big issue for me, but maybe for some. Lighter folks shouldn't have this issue. That said, at 54 lbs, it's easy too move. 7. The "negatives" listed in #6 aside, a chair like this selling from a high end furniture store could eaily cost several thousand dollars, so, as I wrote in #2, above, this is a terrific value and I'm glad I bought it.

This is a very good quality chair at a very reasonable price. I like the indigo blue color and the soft, microfiber upholstery. This is a contemporary style, but it fits well with my, mostly, mid-century-modern décor. It's not a chair you will sink into. It's firm and supportive with just the right amount of "give" which is what I prefer. The base provides a smooth, silent swivel. I couldn't be more pleased.

Did a lot of research b4 purchasing especially without seeing & glad I selected these chairs & this company! I am used to high quality furniture and these chairs are an unbelievable value color and fabric is gorgeous comfortable and of course, very chic!

Every time I look at this chair, it makes me happy. The lines are sleek and distinctive. The seating is firm and the back support is good. If you want an easy chair you can sink down into, this is not one to consider; if you want one that is easy to get up out of and won't cause back aches from hours of bad posture, this is a good option. The color is less olive than it had appeared to me from the picture on Amazon; it is more of a deep forest green. The chair comes fully assembled and fit through my standard-sized front door easily; set up simply involved opening the box and removing layers of protective packaging. Even though the color is slightly off from what I had hoped for, I'd buy this over again. The nap on the velvet feels positively luxurious. As one final test, I plopped my cat down in the chair, just to see what she'd think of the new addition to her living room. She sniffed once, then stretched out full length and yawned. So: both human- and cat-approved

I needed a small accent chair for a small space in my living room in my very small apartment. I searched and searched and saw this chair and had to have it. I ordered Falkirk Green and it is a dark olive green color and I ordered a matching 18x18 pillow from Wayfair and it is perfect! It is comfy and semi-firm. It swivels effortlessly and it is very chic and modern. Love it!

This chair is not only sturdy and well made, but very comfortable to sit in. The fabric and color are really beautiful. So glad I purchased this and would do so again.

$500 for a well-built, nicely designed chair....MOST uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in. Spent a lot of time on line and in store shopping for a living room chair...took measurements, etc...Absolutely NO give in this seat at all!
