George Foreman 2-Serving Classic Plate Electric Indoor Grill and Panini Press, Black, GRS040B

I bought this to replace my older George Foreman, and it works just as well as I hoped. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly on both sides, and is the perfect size for making a quick meal for one or two people. The nonstick plates make cleanup simple, just a quick wipe and it’s ready to go again. It’s lightweight and compact, so it doesn’t take up much counter space, which I appreciate. It may be a small model, but it’s reliable and gets the job done for sandwiches, chicken, or burgers. A solid replacement if you’ve had one before and need a new one.

We use this all the time!! Super easy, fast, and super easy to clean! Can cook so many things on there saves doing a bunch of dishes!

It is a good size and works really well cleaning is a bit of a hassles since the plates don't just pop off like other george foremans do. They do make for easy storage, and take less space when stored.

Where I plug in my grill makes a difference. The Foreman grill with more watts does work much better, unless you run into wattage problems. The 2 sided quick, mild cooking of a steak I think is the reason I want to cook steaks (beef, ham, etc.) on a grill. I find the meat tastes much better and I expect it is better for health reasons. My experience with George Foreman grills demonstrates to me that they produce very good grills. I also purchased the OXO brush/silicone scraper and it makes cleaning even easier. The smaller size is easier to clean because I can lean part of it into the sink. But the larger model has the grill parts removeable and that is even better. There is almost no smoke.

Works great, like it coming apart to clean and even submerge in water or wash in the dishwater. But why oh why can they never put an off switch on these GF grilles??

I bought a George Foreman "Submersible" Grill 18-months ago and was very disappointed with it - the "durable non-stick surface" was noticeably dulled the first time it went through the dishwasher, and after the second wash I had to use non-stick spray to prevent food from adhering to it - on top of that the drip-pan was made of brittle plastic, soon broke, and wouldn't you know it - they're on backorder. So, I decided to go back to a more conventional design like my older GFG's, and this one has been fantastic so far. The first thing that jumped-out at me was how it heats-up in literally HALF the time the "submersible" design takes - 2.5 minutes vs. 5 minutes. And it cooks faster, too - probably because the quicker-heating (lower thermal-mass, more-conductive embedded heating elements) grill is better at keeping itself at the proper temperature, with less delay when the temperature starts to drop (along with less overshoot). For whatever reason the PFAS-free non-stick surface is also far superior to the newer "submersible" design - I have trouble keeping burgers on the grill because it was so slippery (without using any anti-stick spray) even the slightest tilt causes them to want to slide on the grill. Cleanup is a breeze - you just spray it down in the sink while it's still hot and everything comes right-off in seconds. The 12" x 6" grill size of this design is 10% less area than the 10" x 8" of the "submersible" design, but for some food-dishes a longer/narrower design is actually better for fitting multiple servings on the grill than a more-square one. Oh, and this thing weighs WAY less than the "submersible" design, and can be easily stored standing on its side to save space. And it's less than 2/3rds the price of the "submersible".

Outstanding piece for the kitchen. We love the rich char flavor and succulent finish of meats, veggies, and fruits. Easy clean up with the removable plate and no stickiness here. A quick wash and it’s ready to serve up the next chef’s meal. The speed and versatility of this culinary aide ( this is no gadget, folks!) simply can’t be beat.

I will never be without a Forman grill but this one is exceptional. The ceramic coating makes clean up so easy...just wipe off while still warm and presto just fold and store. It does so many foods well..boneless chicken thighs and breasts, bacon, sausages, etc. Highly recommend this product

Ótimo grill, valeu a pena importar. O formato é mais quadrado, diferente do tradicional, então não cabe direito 2 fatias de pão de forma lado a lado, tem que dar uma apertada. Mas nada melhor que um George novinho.

Es un excelente producto y por el precio WOW!!! pero timen en cuenta que maximo caben dos sandwiches de tamaño normal. Es una parrilla pequeña
