Toshiba Low-Carb Rice Cooker – Very Highly Recommended I’ve been using the Toshiba Low-Carb Rice Cooker, and it has been extremely helpful for anyone looking to reduce carbohydrate intake and better manage blood sugar levels. • Lower carbs, better control: The low-carb cooking method removes excess starch, helping prevent sharp blood sugar spikes. • Great-tasting rice: The rice comes out soft, fluffy, and flavorful — it doesn’t feel like “diet food” at all. • Easy to use: Simple one-button operation with consistent results every time. • Easy to clean: Removable inner parts make cleaning quick and hassle-free. For anyone who wants to eat rice more mindfully while maintaining good health, I very highly recommend the Toshiba Low-Carb Rice Cooker. Excellent cooker! The right capacity titanium coated container, low carb rice facility, induction heating + fuzzy logic - what other feature could you want? The low carb setting is a game changer as the rice was delicious and guilt free and did not give the bloated feeling once you eat it. I was hesitant on Toshiba before as Zojirushi is everywhere; I came from a Zojirushi Induction cooker to this one, just to go for the low carb rice option which surprisingly, Zojirushi does not offer in any of their models. Perhaps it is a gimmick for Zojirushi but this actually works and thanks Toshiba for that. It is a sleek cooker with grey and white accents, well built, easy to clean and most importantly does not occupy a lot of table space.

In addition to this Toshiba rice cooker, over the past 25 years we have had two zojirushi "fuzzy logic" (as they used to be called) models (all from amazon). All claim to balance cooking time to rice/water so you get perfect results every time, and all have worked pretty well (family of chronic estimators when it comes to weights and measures!) The first Zojirushi lasted twice as long as the second one, but they both lasted multiple years so can't complain. This year, we wanted to try a model with the carb-reducing technology, and this Toshiba model had that, plus all the zojirushi abilities, at a lower price point. I should add that we briefly tried, and returned, the more popular but super-pricey Cuckoo model as not being good value for money. We are very happy with this Toshiba brand. Rice comes out perfectly regardless of the setting. It counts down in minutes from when you press the start button (Zojirushis only showed minutes for last ten minutes). Carb-reduced rice takes longer but tastes great. The steam function is new. It doesn't keep the rice warm quite as well as the Zojiruishi's in that it's a tad dryer in the Toshiba. That's not a big concern for us because most of it gets eaten and what doesn't is eaten for lunch the next day, but if you want to keep rice warm for a long time, this might not be the best one for that. It feels well constructed, it opens and closes with a satisfying thunk, the metal basket for steaming and carb reduction is not thin (as on other models) and the machine itself is that shiny kind of white I associate with sci-fi films like WALL-E (it reminds me of Eve from that film, so I've named it). Overall, highly recommended.

We have owned our cooker since November 2022. It still cooks great; however, the digital display started failing about 6 months ago and now, we can not read it enough to cook. Love the size, cooks rice PERFECTLY and is easy to clean. We just wish the electronic display had been more reliable. Very disappointed.

it took a minute to figure out the low carb rice water ratio to meet my liking but once I did I am very happy with this. the low carb feature and the basket work so well and cook everything well.

I’m honestly so impressed with this rice cooker. The design is sleek and modern, and it’s super easy to clean! The rice comes out perfect every time, fluffy and delicious. I especially love that it can make congee/porridge using the steam function. Such a versatile and important feature me. The inner bowl feels sturdy and high-quality, not flimsy at all. Titanium is the safest option by far. I noticed it’s frequently returned, and I honestly don’t understand why. Maybe people didn’t give it a proper try? Please don’t let that discourage you. This rice cooker is totally worth every penny. Highly recommend!

I purchased the Toshiba Induction Heating Rice Cooker – Low Carb, Low Sugar, Digital Steamer (induction heating), my experience has been extremely disappointing. Despite carefully measuring the correct rice-to-water ratio, the cooker consistently produces poor results. The rice turns out watery and overly gooey every single time. It never achieves the fluffy, well-separated texture you would expect from a quality rice cooker—especially one at this price point. I was particularly interested in the induction heating feature, assuming it would enhance cooking performance. However, based on my experience, it does not seem to improve rice quality at all. In fact, I’ve had better results with far less expensive traditional rice cookers. Given the high price I paid, I feel stuck with this purchase for now. However, I cannot recommend this model to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality rice results.

Más que satisfecha con la compra del producto, tuve mis dudas por el tamaño, pero al usar la arrocera estoy muy contenta con la compra.... El arroz queda perfecto, sin preocuparse por el tiempo de cocción.... los programas incluidos se encargan de ello; únicamente cuidar la preparación y listo!! -He usado el programa para arroz blanco, con distintas preparaciones y los resultados siempre son perfectos- Además muy práctica, para la preparación de avena, la cocino con especias; canela, nuez moscada, jengibre, clavo, y pizca de sal y la tengo lista para sólo agregar endulzante, leche y frutas, al momento de consumirla.... lo que hace una opción para desayuno o cena siempre disponible en el refri. Tamaño adecuado para 4 o hasta 5 personas.

This is Japan made rice cooker. I really liked that one. I also have one Korea made rice cooker. For only 2people the size is good for us. It will make me happy for my kitchen.
