I don't know if these are genuine or not, but I've used a ton of them and they are great quality. Connector resistance is almost always 0.60mΩ though I did have a bad one at one point. Usually you can feel it when putting them together, but it's worth checking for critical applications if you have the equipment for it. When soldering, always plug it into another connector, preferably one with wires already on it to act as a heat sink, otherwise you risk melting the plastic and mis-aligning the connector. Also tin the connector, tin the wire, then merge together with a bit more solder. Don't just raw-dog the wire into the connector with some solder, it will inevitably lead to a partial bond.

I have used these for several years for various purposes and these are good connectors - very compact for their high current rating. The small, dark gray snap-on covers are 'just okay' but do not prevent metal fatigue in the wires near the solder cups. MY SUGGESTION TO AMASS: Please design an additional and longer cover with a tapered, flexible 'tail' that will transfer strain relief 3+ cm down the cable where the solder hasn't reached (soldered wire is brittle and very subject to fatigue breaking - that's why automotive wire terminations are always crimped, never soldered).

Decent, overall. Have many assembled into cables, crimped, soldered, and some crimped & soldered. Majority of connectors feature no heat issues. ALL hold very well, not coming out accidentally. Yet a few showed signs of heat and slight plastic melt. Those were replaced, problem resolved.
