Bought this to fix a disappointing henna job, and it definitely didn't let me down! It was exactly the color I wanted, in my budget, and didn't interact badly with the henna or the indigo in my hair. The only thing I didn't really like was that I didn't have quite enough to evenly coat all of my hair, but I probably just need two boxes with how much hair I have. Definitely buying again!

This is the first time I used over the counter hair color, as the product I typically use at home (Elumen) was not available. The goal was to cover gray (plenty) and to match the color I typically use. I was very worried and hesitant as I did not know what to expect. I made a decision to take the product to the local hair salon and have a professional apply it (glad I did it). The color turned out just beautiful, light brown, as promised, covered gray completely, blended with the previous color nicely, and lasted about 8 weeks no problem. Just got it done again, at the hair salon, same great result. My hair looks healthy and natural. Absolutely love this product, may switch to it completely back at home or use it in between to space out visits to the hair salon. The picture is about six weeks in from the first time I used this product, people were asking if I got highlights (no, it was the gray starting to show a bit, as yellowish highlights, another added bonus :)

I absolutely love this Clairol Natural Instincts hair dye! The Dark Brown shade (4) gave me such rich, natural-looking color that blends beautifully with my hair. It didn’t dry my hair out or make it feel brittle like other dyes I’ve tried - my hair actually feels soft and healthy after colouring. The demi-permanent formula lasted nicely and faded evenly without any harsh lines. I also appreciated that the pack of 3 is great value and ensures I have enough product for future touch-ups.
