I got the Tung Tongue Cleaning Kit Tung Brush and Gel Bad Breath Odor Eliminator specifically to tackle bad breath and tongue buildup especially after enjoying wine which often leaves my tongue stained purple or discolored and feeling coated. This kit works really well and stands out as one of the best tongue cleaning solutions I have tried. The Tung Brush has a unique soft yet firm design with those special ridges that gently but thoroughly scrape away the bacteria film coating and debris from the tongue surface. Paired with the Tung Gel it creates a fresh minty clean that actually eliminates bad breath odor at the source instead of just masking it. The gel has a pleasant taste not overpowering or medicinal just refreshing and it helps the brush glide smoothly without any gagging or discomfort. What impresses me most is how effectively it handles wine related staining. After a glass or two of red wine my tongue would look tinted and feel fuzzy but a quick session with this kit removes the color buildup almost completely leaving my tongue pink and clean again. It cleans really well in just 10 to 20 seconds and the results last noticeable fresh breath for hours. No more fuzzy mouth feel or lingering aftertaste from drinks or food.

This helped tremendously. As someones who has had a white toungue since I could remember and no medical professional ever addressed it. I thought it was normal! I brought this product and it helped alot! My toungue is cleaner and tastes cleaner, something a toungue scraper didnt do as good. I feel like i dont have to chew gum all yhe time or be self conscience. Like others say just clean your toungue gently so it doesn't bleed. But this is a great product. The only con is I wish it told you if you have to wait to use mouthwash or eat after using it.

Short Review: If you're reading this, that means you want a clean tongue, so I implore you to buy this product. You will NOT be disappointed, and you'll never want to go without using this brush and gel again. More Details: The TUNG brush and gel kit I purchased here on Amazon is so good, that it actually gave me almost as much anxiety as it did satisfaction. Why anxiety? Because my mind instantly feared having to deal with this product disappearing one day. Some of our favorite things in life are discontinued (products, foods, tv shows, etc) and never come back despite how great they were in someone's eyes. I really want as many people as possible to discover the TUNG brush like I just did because I REALLY don't want to lose it...and I have zero doubt the more people that use this brush, the more likely it will be here for the long haul. I was skeptical as I am with anything I buy that claims it'll do something...it looks like a round tooth brush with short bristles...could be a gimmick. Glad it was affordable enough (cheap even) for me to give it a try, because my skepticism disappeared after my first use. I can't vouch for the TUNG brush or TUNG gel each on their own because I've only used them together...but my gut tells me the brush would be effective no matter what. The gel is a light refreshing mint flavor that's not overbearing. It's quite gentle. I will continue using it because it is supposedly less likely to gunk up the brush than other toothpaste...ok, I'll take them at their word on that one because there's no real financial or mental incentive for me not to. The brush feels nice in my hand and even more so on my tongue. The bristles are firm but really comforting at the same time. That was actually a side effect I wasn't expecting that I experienced when first using the brush. Here I am expecting it to get my tongue clean after all of my scraping and gargling and brushing attempts in the past (and oh yeah it accomplished this) but it also felt really...good. Is that weird? Maybe a little weird. It's like my sad sad tongue got the hug it's been needing for so long. I have pretty nice teeth. I take care of them. I brush twice a day. I get complimented on my smile. But my tongue...man, I just could not get it clean no matter how much I brushed it, gargled with different mouth washes, scraped it...nothing was doing the trick. I switched from a plastic tongue scraper to a nice stainless steel U-shaped one and that DID help a lot. But while my tongue was not as dirty looking to me, it was still whiter toward the back than it was pinkish-red. It was still not what I would consider "clean." I now use my SS scraper prior to the TUNG brush & TUNG gel, and I am proud to say my tongue is a nice lovely shade of pink to go with my white teeth. If I had to choose just one tool for the tongue cleaning job, it would hands down be the TUNG brush over any other brush, gel/paste, rinse, or scraper. Side note: This routine isn't for everyone because it takes me about 5-10 minutes (depending on how awake I am) rather than the 2 minute window people seem to be obsessed with keeping oral hygiene boxed into, but here's what I do if anyone wants to try something that'll be effective for their teeth and tongue and breath. Scrape tongue with SS scraper (Amazon) Brush tongue with TUNG brush & TUNG gel (Amazon) Floss teeth (I use a Waterpik because I hate flossing) (Amazon) Rinse mouth with whitening mouth wash (I use Crest 3D White) Brush teeth without any tooth paste for about a minute (this is my trade secret) Brush teeth with tooth paste for another minute (I use Crest 3D White) Rinse mouth with a small cap of TheraBreath Fresh Breath Oral Rinse for a minute (Amazon) Rinse back of throat (gargle) with another small cap of the TheraBreath for about 30 seconds Seems like a lot, and it's more than most I'm sure...but in under 10 minutes my mouth looks and feels better than it ever has in the past. Worth it.

So this is a need! It works and works great. So much better than just a toothbrush and toothpaste. I will never go without using one again. I do think a cap/travel case to place this in while not in use should be automatically included. The brush is pretty long and I do not have any kind of case that the brush will fit in and due to its shape I don’t have a cap that this will fit in either. I thought I had a case that would work but again, this is much longer than any of my cases. And I’m not trying to leave it out in the open to be exposed to other germs/dirt in my travel bag. I haven’t quite figured out how to go about packing this in my travel bag. That’s why I only rated this 4 stars.

Works great. Exactly as advertised. Removes gunk a lot better than a toothbrush or metal tongue scraper. My breath does not stink when I use it.

Works very well, although it works better to squeeze the gel on my finger and rub on my tongue because the gel when put on the brush penetrates between the brush bristles and doesn't disperse easily on to tongue ,so the finger trick works better all in all great product i will continue buying thanks

It removed the coating from your tongue and the tooth paste has a minty taste but for bad breath your going To need more then this this just cleans the tongue I brushed my teeth and scraped my tongue eventually after struggling with all these products that promise to fix breath and not even being able to cover the smell with mints I went back to mask.

This thing doesn't fool around with just water and the paste seems helpful too...it WILL clean your tongue. Easily worth the $

Disposed of metal ones as it drew blood when I pressed too hard. Feel the Tung cleaner is more comfortable and the accompanying gel makes the cleaning process complete. With this comes less gagging, at least for me.
