What do you get the men in your life that are impossible to shop for? Why unique instruments of course! My dad is a guitar player but dabbles with all sorts of instruments. He’s also a hiker and this lil instrument is the perfect size for a back pack. It come with instructions, tuning supplies and a polishing cloth as well as a velvet carrying bag. I gave it a lil experiment plink-a-plink and think I might have to get myself one some time. Can’t wait to give it to my dad for Christmas. (For reference, my dad is in his mid 60’s and has been playing instruments in various bands since before I was born!)

It's very well made. Careful detail on the wood. The keys are much thicker heavily steal, not the flimsy pot metal that I've seen some use. It came in a nice little soft bag and had the tuner with it. Very nice instrument.

I come from a background of organ, piano, and keyboard. I purchased this kalimba on a whim. It arrived in promptly and in great condition. It was in tune out of the box and sounds nice. I have only had it less than a week so I cannot comment on durability. I can play simple songs and harmonies but am still learning the instrument. The instruction book is not all that good. There are much better resources on the web for this. Update 2021/06/20: I’ve had the kalimba about 9 months. It is holding up well. I have included a video of my playing the hymn “Faith of Our Fathers.”
