LX 470 Lift gate struts
They fit perfectly on my 2000 Lexus LX470. Easy to install and very strong! Holds up my upper tail gate with ease. I recommend this product and would buy again if needed!

LX470 hatch support - super quick install, works great
Had a sagging hatch door on my 07 Lexus LX470. Followed a helpful video online and installed the struts myself, with the most basic tools, in less than 15 minutes. Chucked the old ones in the garbage and opened my trunk about 30 times not because I needed to, but because it was so nice to see it lift up in a powerful upward motion. Super satisfying. My only regret is putting up with a sagging trunk hatch door for the last 5 years. Totally impressed. The kit is a beautiful replacement for the OEM Lexus struts. Don't hesitate: buy it!

Good fit and works.
Good Fit. Seems decent quality and will see how they hold up. Gate opens on its own and stays up with good tension.

It looks very much like the OEM that came with my 04 Landcuriser fits great and very easy to install.

One strut was defective and was dead weight.
They struts were exact factory spec with regard to size. Fit was spot on and finish was good. Easy to install. But one strut was defective and did not carry any of the load. I upped the review score because of fit and finish. But was very disappointed in performance of the one strut. It was really not worth my time to go through the return process. And for the time being the one strut seems to support the weight of a very heavy hatch door. But I will need still need to get a new set soon to maintain proper hatch operation.

These installed as they should and give enough pressure to lift the rear door up the additional 3”. Worth the price.

It was an exact replacement, fit perfect and did a great job actually lifting the tailgate by itself. No more falling down and hitting me, wished I gotten these a long time ago! Excellent quality and a great value.
