Exactly like grandma’s, just way more of them
If you grew up occasionally getting one of these at your grandma’s house, these are exactly the same candy. Same flavor, same hard shell, same sweet strawberry center, nothing has changed. The only difference is now it’s a 2 lb bag instead of the single Bon Bon grandma handed out one-per-visit like it was gold. taste just like I remember, and honestly it’s kind of funny seeing so many of them in one place. Dangerous if you lack self control, but that’s on me. Nostalgia hit hard with these and I’m glad they didn’t mess with the recipe.

if you remember these strawberry candies, arcor is the original 1950’s candy brand, and this retailer didn’t disappoint. ordered two pounds yesterday & it arrived this morning. there were 127 in this two pound pkg. taste tested right away. outer candy shell is firm & crunchy, not soft/waxy (when candy is old) center is soft/gooey. wrapping (opaque wax paper rectangle inside foil strawberry outer wrapper) & flavor is the same as those 3 strawberry candies we remember pkgd in the summer sausage/cheese/cracker gifts that we tried to get to first - iykyk! cheers :)

warning extremely adictive
Wow, stay away from these if you have type 2 diabetes because you won't be able to stop at 3 or 5, I couldn't. but if you don't care, these are the best.
