This is a good scanner with a responsive screen that has a crisp clear image.The menu is intuitive and easy to understand.This scanner comes with 3 free functions and others must be paid for separately.This is what sets a lot of the more expensive ones from the less expensive ones.If you are an occasional user you might like the low initial cost and then only having to buy what you need.The other option is to get the one with the most functions that you can afford and maybe pay for many functions you will never need.Figure out your price range and then decide how many functions you are willing to pay for.Know what you need and what you are buying and you will be a happy shopper.5 STARS

This scanner and diagnostic tool is well made and works well as advertised. It's easy to use and pretty intuitive. The screen is nice, bright, and responsive. I like the design with the side handle which makes it comfortable to hold.The subscription model of paying 39.99 a year for EACH extra function outside of included three is disappointing though. I would understand if it would be a one-time fee that you pay to enable the extra functions if needed, but a yearly subscription model for this type of device is not reasonable... at least not for your average home DIY mechanic. Due to this, I would rate it lower but this requirement is clearly stated in the description so there is no surprises or false advertising here - you know in advance that only 3 features are included and extra features require a subscription, please be aware.Overall, I think if you are using it for business in the shop or something - it may make sense but for your average DYIer I would check out many other scanners/tools that offer similar functionality but without additional yearly costs.

Waste

I have used this far more than I expected to. It's honestly very handy to have and I love that you can send out the diagnostic reports via Bluetooth! There are some functions that you'd have to pay for, but ultimately the ones most commonly used are free. All-in-all, I would be happy to recommend this product to others.

This is what I would call a “medium” sized scanner. It’s much better than a standard cheap obd2 reader but not quite as good as a 800$+ bi directional one. It’s good in reading abs/airbag codes that standard ones won’t read. Great for a diyer or at home scan tool!

Works exactly as expected and the web-connected interface will help to keep it relevant.

I really like this scan tool and it reset my throttle body for my 2008 Dodge Charger. You need wifi to use it but it’s a good scan tool it has a lot of features. It just sucks that these scan tools have to have a subscription for most of the features. This one offers 3 free ones which is cool, but just not very much at all.
