They are thin but the paper quality is substantial. Very nice tossable coaster.

These coasters were purchased to place in cupholder section of the coffee maker to catch the final drips. I would not use them directly on a table but they would work well under a cup on a saucer

Perfect for our drink "holes" on our recliner.

The photo was taken about 10 min after I put this water on it. Another 5 minutes later, and the underside had water seeping through. These coasters were very ineffective absorbing a small amount of water, much less an actual spill. This particular coaster was used for a few minutes with a glass of water. It warped and had a ring of water on the surface. When I picked it up to replace it, the water rolled off the surface and on to the wooden table. At this point it served as a notice to people not to put their drinks on that particular surface, but I ended up swapping them with the few more substantial coasters I owned and stopped using these. They are about the same weight as the card stock I use in my home printer, just less absorbent. Disappointing purchase.

Not the least bit absorbing. Was looking for a coaster that I could put inside my wooden coasters but these don’t absorb any water.

Just what I wanted for putting under a clean glass in the bathroom of my AirBnB. Would like to find something even a bit thinner - this is like very thin cardstock, and I could do with just a thick-ish paper - but this is a cost-effective signal to my tenants that the glass is there on purpose and is clean.

These are the perfect size and they absorb but also don’t fall apart. We can let them dry and re use them. And there are so many in the package! We recycle them when we are done. Will buy again.
