Oilatum Emollient 500ml by Jubujub

This has been a lifesaver for my baby’s dry, eczema-prone skin. I use it both in the bath and directly on the skin. My routine is simple: I start with regular cleaning, then add this emollient while bathing. I focus on the back of the neck and chest since those areas need extra care, then let baby soak and play for a bit. Afterward, I gently rinse off and pat dry. The skin still feels slightly oily afterward—which is exactly what you want—because it locks in moisture. For the best results, I follow up immediately with Oilatum cream. This is the best baby wash ever created! We found this first when we lived as expats in Poland when our daughter was a newborn and when we had our son over two years later in the US I couldn't resist ordering some so that we could use it for him too. It's so wonderfully moisturizing and the smell is something I will never forgot. This is a great fresh scented cleanser that isn't at all perfume-y like most of the baby wash available.

After getting a recommendation from a British friend, I have used this product 4 times now as instructed and haven't felt any itch relief at all from my dermatitis. Seems soothing in the bath, but that's about it.

I expected this to be a lttle more moisturizing than it is. I still have to apply lotion to me and my daughters skin after a bath, but her eczema has be managed very well this summer and it has been hot, which would normally cause a lot of flare ups for her. I began using this as a preventer and did not buy it as a treatment for a current flare up...so far it seems to work well. I have also used the Oilatum bar soap, when a little extra cleaning is needed, but most of the time we are just allowing the Emollient do the cleaning while she soaks in the tub for 15 to 30 minutes. I will by more and this time buy the Oilatum lotion too. My daughter and I are swimmers and our skin gets dry fro the chlorine and sun. I wish the emollient was good enough to take care of the dryness completely, but it does help and I am sure once I apply the Oilatum lotion to our bath routine, I will have the perfect combination to take care of our stressed skin.

This emollient works really well to clear up my son's eczema. It has a nice, light fragrance and doesn't feel too oily.

Bottle was not sealed, looks like it was used. Very leary about using it.

I got this for my grandaughter who has skin problems. It works great. She loves it! Just wish it was easier to get. It takes forever when I order these products!
