Big Meaty Olives Perfect for Marinating
Best olives EVER for making your own marinated olives. They're big, meaty, and delicately flavored. This is a BIG BAG so be prepared either to split it or keep them in a large container. I dump them in a big jar with some herbs, garlic, chili flakes, maybe an orange rind or something, cover them with olive oil and let them marinate for a few days before sharing. The resulting olive oil is also great to use for other purposes!

Just like olives bought in Prague
We bought these olives in Prague at a speciality charcuterie store. Usually don't go to these stores as a little e pensive although the quality is worth it. Wanted some olives to go with it. These were the only ones in the store. Looked like ones that i have bought at home in the US. Even better. So i wanted to have some just like these in the US. I ordered them and they arrived 2 days before our return flight. Absolutely delicious! A fav of mine. The ones bought in Prague, originating in Italy were harder. At first i liked the hard ones more but i got used to these from Amazon being less firm/hard. I will definitely buy again.

Disappointing Cerignola experience.
Cerignolas are characterized by being very large, and very crisp, buttery. These are none of those things. They are mushy, not crisp at all. It is totally possible to buy Cerignola olives, bagged, of good quality. I've enjoyed them, which is why I tried these. These olives miss the mark. I gave them an extra star because the olives aren't spoiled, just processed in a way that makes them uncharacteristic and disappointing. The mushy texture is unappealing. The usual, delicious, buttery taste of the Cerignola is absent. These taste like the brine they were shipped in, nothing more.

Very tasty!
Very tasty! Arrived a plastic bag, and no leaks. I will be buying these again, when I run low.

Good olives. Not super salty.
Good olives without the super salty brine, so you can really taste the olive. A bit pricey, but good olives, will try the castelvetrano ones next.

Simply the best!
Unbelievable! The mother of all olives! Whenever Cerignola olives show up at my local Market Basket, which isn’t often, I pounce on them. They’ve not had them for a couple months, so I checked to see if Amazon carried them by chance, and lo and behold, I found these. They are meaty and firm, and absolutely delicious. Castelvetrano olives can’t hold a candle to these olives from Puglia, Italy. You’ll never buy another olive again, they are that good! And the price is remarkable compared to what I expect to pay for an 8 ounce container at Market Basket. What a treat!
