This 30th Anniversary Edition of Beastie Boys' perennial debut album Licensed To Ill is cut from the original production masters and pressed on 180g vinyl. Released in November 1986, it features classic Beastie anthems, including "Hold It Now, Hit It," "Brass Monkey," "No Sleep Till Brooklyn," and the MTV staple "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right To Party." It was the first hip hop album to top the Billboard 200 chart and has been diamond-certified by the RIAA for selling over 10 million copies. (Def Jam Recordings) Review: Awesome record! - Great record, love it! Review: Great Reissue of a Childhood Classic! - I grew up listening to this tape! I basically had the whole thing memorized in 4th grade. Not sure if that's a good thing or not but ¡es lo que es! I have all the other Beastie Boys albums on Vinyl and finally got around to buying this one too. It's not one I listen to often bc in my opinion it's not their best work. But for the price I had to finish my collection. I was impressed that the mix on the record was so good. Often re-releases lose quality but this one holds up well. They are still one of the greatest bands the world has ever seen and this is the album that put them on the map. No one else has ever mixed the drums from Led Zeppelin with the guitar from Black Sabbath and aggressively rhymed over it. No one else has done it ever since either! Classic!

Favorite
This is my favorite Beastie Boys album. I love to have it on vinyl now! It plays well, and the printing on the cover is done well.

Solid gold jams!
Great pressing/sound quality. For a group that is always a fun listen, this particular album is a riot! I will say at times it is a bit dated but we are talking released in the mid eighties. I also have to say by now Fight For Your Right might be my least favorite song on the record only because I've heard it everywhere for the past 35 years.

Great album!
This is such a classic album. My teenaged son is really into vinyl right now and he had to have this. When he received it, there were multiple scratches and it skipped. I asked for a replacement and it was here in two days! Excellent customer service and the replacement is in perfect condition. Will purchase from this seller again.

Quería volver a tener un disco que en su día perdí y lo he recuperado en una reedición que merece mucho la pena.

Beautiful gatefold and heavy vinyl with impressive bass. The 808 and 303 on Paul Revere and Brass Monkey will melt any subwoofer on the planet.
