This 30th Anniversary Edition of Beastie Boys' perennial debut album Licensed To Ill is cut from the original production masters and pressed on 180g vinyl. Released in November 1986, it features classic Beastie anthems, including "Hold It Now, Hit It," "Brass Monkey," "No Sleep Till Brooklyn," and the MTV staple "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right To Party." It was the first hip hop album to top the Billboard 200 chart and has been diamond-certified by the RIAA for selling over 10 million copies. (Def Jam Recordings)

Review: Great Reissue of a Childhood Classic! - I grew up listening to this tape! I basically had the whole thing memorized in 4th grade. Not sure if that's a good thing or not but ¡es lo que es! I have all the other Beastie Boys albums on Vinyl and finally got around to buying this one too. It's not one I listen to often bc in my opinion it's not their best work. But for the price I had to finish my collection. I was impressed that the mix on the record was so good. Often re-releases lose quality but this one holds up well. They are still one of the greatest bands the world has ever seen and this is the album that put them on the map. No one else has ever mixed the drums from Led Zeppelin with the guitar from Black Sabbath and aggressively rhymed over it. No one else has done it ever since either! Classic!
