Clarke Sweetone Tinwhistle - Key of 'C' - Black

Great little tinwhistle. Now if only I could play it lol. Fortunately it comes with a fingering chart and a few little practice ditties. That being said, most irish tunes are in key of D. Just a heads up.

Compré este tin whistle en Enero de 2018. No tenía ni idea de música y mi idea era buscar un instrumento sencillo y barato para iniciarme. 9 meses después y; una armónica y una guitarra de por medio, puedo decir que:El instrumento está bien para iniciarse, tiene un buen sonido en las las notas mas bajas, pero necesita mucho aire en las notas más altas. Yo tiendo a babear y a veces tengo que parar a soplar para limpiar el silvato.La afinación en C está bien y está chula para canciones mas pausadas y dulces, pero si quieres ese sonido celta o tocar jigs mejor compra uno en la afinación de D (Re).No esperes un producto para dar conciertos o tocar con público (salvo que seas un máquina que le haga vibrar a una tetera) es lo que es y por el precio que tiene no se le puede pedir más. Honestamente y esto es un guiño a los profesores de primaria; dejad de usar la flauta dulce, es una porquería, especialmente las baratas, y enseñad con whitles, suenan mejor, son mas sencillas y se tienen cosas decentes por poco dinero.Yo creo que estoy listo para dar el paso a otra cosa mejor, pero siempre estaré contento y agradecido a este gran instrumento.y recuerda ... "La magia está en los dedos no en la flauta".

Whistles are cheap so easy to try many. My opinion: Clarke whistles are best for beginners and are used by many experienced players for practice. They are relatively quiet - so not to annoy neighbours and family too much. Hint: use blutak to partially cover top hole to make even quieter.Best get a high D whistle as these are most often used. The Amazon price is good but if you visit the Clarke web site you might findnd a nice package deal - so why not buy high C and high D? Throw in a cleaning brush and you might just have spent enough to get a free T-shirt!.Clarke also sell the original - from 1843 - tinwhistle - this is more expensive looks pretty in black & gold but has a cheapish wooden block in the fipple mouthpiece. Sound is good but a bit ‘breathy’ which some players like.IMHO best to start with a sweetone D, but if you can afford it try other whistles. Happy whistling!

Very nice sounding, sturdy and very reasonably priced instrument.

El sonido es bastante bueno, aunque como contras le pondría que el Do no es muy cómodo de hacer. También que el silbato venia en una bolsita de plástico sin caja ni nada.
