WatchOut Wearables Next-Gen Kids Smartwatch with 4G Video Call, Music, Games, Anti-Theft and Parental Control (Lavender Purple), Fits All

Writing this review in less than a day of using this product.... Liked the fact that this device is made keeping in mind a parent where we need assurance on child's whereabouts as well as allow sufficient control by the parent remotely. You can literally (& remotely) decide the hours when the child will be unable to access any other interesting features on the watch like music, video etc.... And then turn the access back on remotely using your phone when the child is done with home work etc. I initially had trouble setting up the app on phone correctly, but the customer service was very prompt and forthcoming which I very much appreciated, given the product is quite pricy. The only opportunity areas I found were: that the battery drains in less than a day of active usage (we charged twice), the pedometer counts hand movements (while sitting) as well and the fact that the child cannot make a second video call without a 4 min gap from the last video call. The support desk told me the latter is to avoid overheating of the device, which makes sense. All in all both me and my child liked the device, its design, comfort and features provided.

Its been less than 24 hours since I got this watch for my daughter and I can see myself wishing to return this.... The Hardware of the watch is excellent but to say that software is sub-par would be an understatement. It is abysmal ! I would not expect this from a company that gained so much hype and support of Shark Tank investors. Battery life is max 3-4 hours !! The step count is extremely inaccurate and there is no way to configure the watch from the phone application which is the worst in terms of maturity. You simply cannot mark safe zones by searching for a location, you have to physically present at the location so that the application picks it up or manually move to the location and pin it. Adding wifi means typing password on the small screen because the app would not sync the details of the network with the watch ! Overall, its a waste of money till the software is improved !!

I am writing this review after a month and half of active usage. I have bought almost 3-4 kids smart watch for tracking (all Chinese made). None of them had 4G and none of them lasted beyond 2-3 months. No service and no replacements. Finally I bounced upon this watch, it was definitely 3-4 times the cost of the watches I have bought, but it has been worth the money. The primary objective to buy this watch was safety of my kid. Using this watch you can 1. Track your kid (GPS enabled) - most of the Chinese brand track based on Mobile signal triangulation which is very inaccurate. 2. Call (Voice & Video) - Very good call quality 3. Remote audio - you can get a call back from the watch without your kid knowing about it (absolutely a gem of a features) 4. Music player and can connect to your Bluetooth headsets 5. Has some basic chat (with only the contacts created in address book) 6. Very few but nice apps for kids Some of the lowlights 1. Battery life is little low but it is still ok because it will be used by kid only when away which is not usually more than 2-3 hrs 2. A little pricey at this point Other than that loved the product and would recommend anyone who wants the perfect security of their kids with the available options in India market.

I purchased this smartwatch expecting a high-quality product, given its premium price tag. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Within just six months of use, I started encountering significant issues. Aside from the voice calling feature, which works as intended, none of the other functions operate properly. The performance of the watch has been disappointing, especially considering how much I paid for it. To make matters worse, the customer service I attempted to reach out to for support was also lacking. I did not receive the assistance I expected, leaving me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Overall, the poor performance of the watch, combined with inadequate customer service, is completely unacceptable for a product at this price point. I would not recommend this smartwatch based on my experience.

I had been searching for a smart watch for kids for many months, checked all products and read many reviews. Amongst all options - though highly priced, Watchout wearables seemed like a good option for two key reasons 1) the two way video calling which makes it as good as a phone but without having to carry a phone when going to the park or for cycling with friends, esp for younger kids 7-12 age group 2) coz of the customer care support team being available in india for post sales concerns. When we first got the product there were battery issues (super low battery life) - however the customer care team themselves reached out to check on the product post few days of usage and after hearing the concern they suggested to have it exchanged. The exchange process was super smooth and the new watch works really well!! Audio video clarity as well as battery life is good so far (basis the past 1 month of use). My 8yr old daughter loves it! The only area of improvement I would suggest is to improve the GPS tracking accuracy - it mostly shows locations far away while the watch might be right in front of you. Overall we are very satisfied with the purchase.

Watch is awesome. Sheer number of features is surprising. Camera is excellent for the price. Achieves what it was bought for. But there are a couple of cons. Primary one is battery life - a full charge in the morning barely lasts upto bed time. Sometimes the watch resets it's location and shows a point in China.

Pros: Able to do normal phone calls. Video calling needs its app. Tracks kids location. Built quality is very good and can handle rough usage. Parent app is good and seems working well in ios. Camera seems good. Cons: Camera focus is bit too closer and some times unable to see kids full face. It would be good to change focal to bit wide angle. Unable to access call history via parent app like list of missed and received calls, but looks only recorded numbers are able to contact and so it doesn’t matter much. Battery last only for a day if signal is varying and needs charging every night. It will be better to add silent video access to the watch with through app so that a parent can see kids surroundings. Only silent audio access is possible now.

Update after 1 month of use --- the product has stopped charging and i am sorry i recommended the product. The software needs a lot of work. the onscreen keyboard is useless i could not even type 5 characters without 10 mistypes. The product came without and invoice and warranty stamp. when your mode of sales is online you have to make sure the warranty card is stamped before you send the product. Only able to call the cell which have the wherecom app downloaded not able to call other non app phones. I am sure there is something i am missing but neither your manual nor the onsite videos have anything about this. The onscreen could have been designed so much better if they had only put thought into it. The quick start guide that came with the watch is out of date and useless you have to visit there website to learn how to setup the watch which you need to google search as that is not mentioned in the paper that came inside the box. The product is rather OK but it could have been so much better if they had worked on the customer experience a little better. why add text features on a product which is definitely not meant for text. The GPS is not that great i still have to tag an apple tag on my child as this watch does not have a proximity sensor but the product never claimed it. It has a music player but the you need to be a geek download the music to the watch so the music player is a waste. The watch is by default set to 24 hour format which my 7year old cannot understand. no way to change this on the app.. you need to dig into the setting on the watch deep in to find a setting to change this. This watch is not suitable for children below 10. if adult cannot type on their onscreen keyboard i dont think the child can. Basically if you just a need a way to give your child a phone( without giving them a phone) to be in touch this will work.... for everything else it is a waste. The geo fencing did not work for me.. i did not get notifications when it goes out of the fence. again i am probably missing some setting here but you manual is useless to set things up. It sent me notification that the watch was removed by the child from her hand. I asked to trace where she is and the watch replied “Maharashtra , mumbai”. Like I didn’t already know that. Another useless feature in the product. I am just not returning this product as it has enabled me to give my child a phone( without actually giving her a phone). If my child can handle a phone this product would be completely useless.
