Worth it!!!
Has made a word of difference for me in nursing school. I no longer need to worry if my Apple Pencil has been lost!

Highest recommendation to avoid.
Total garbage. I’d leave a zero star review if I could. Pencil got caught in the holder, snapping off the nib and leaving a bit inside the pencil itself. Couldn’t remove the rest of the broken nib without destroying the pencil. I now need a new Apple Pencil and will absolutely be replacing this junk case. Cracks everywhere, and now this. Absolutely worthless. Do not buy.

Perfect for bags
This is exactly what I was looking for!Perfectly attached and integrated with or without the Magic Keyboard for my 12.9 inch iPad Pro. I tried like 10 different cases and attachments because I was annoyed putting my iPad in my backpack and having to keep the Apple Pencil separate. But the fit and function of this case are just excellent

Not very sturdy
It feels not very sturdy, it will break very easily. For that price you'd expect a way better material. One thing I can confirm is that it allows to change the iPad using Smart Keyboard. But change the iPad with normal port is not good, it does not work all times. It protects my iPad and works with smart keyboard....but for that price, it should be much better. Unfortunately, there not many options in the market compatible with smart keyboard.

Broke in less than 3 weeks
I received my Coverbuddy Jan 16 and immediately put it to use. I knew it was going to be thin and feel flimsy based off other reviews. I was fine that.My expectations were to be able to protect the exposed edges, hold the iPen and charge without having to take it off and put it back on constantly.Everything was great till last night (Feb 3, barely 3 weeks) one of the 3 charging/connecting dots came out (shown in first image). I thought my keyboard just died… somehow.Over the course of use, last night was only the second time I took my iPad off the Magic Keyboard.I didn’t even realize it happened till I went to use my iPad, got a ‘low battery’ notification and was confused because it had been charging all morning or so I thought. The magic keyboard will not work without that little dot thing. So my Coverbuddy is essentially useless now.About the rest of it though if you’re still interested.-The inside face that touches your iPad has a soft lining. That’s a nice touch.-Yes it’s thiiiin. It has to be for the magic keyboard to capture the iPad with the case on it but it seems a little stronger around the corners and the slot that holds the iPen.-the iPen slot, it holds the pen just fine and one side of the slot opens so you can slide your pen down, which will release it from the magnet and push it out via the little hole in the back. It takes a little getting use to to do it one handed but it’s manageable.(The slot is NOT big enough to allow the pen to have a cute little silicone fox case. Oh well, I tried lol.)-Other reviewers mention how difficult it is to get to the volume buttons. Meh I chalked that up to getting use to the new set up and was fine with it. It could probably be solved if the company added little silicon buttons to it [the case] to fill that gap better.Oh last thing some reviewers mention a “gap” when the iPad/keyboard is closed… maybe my keyboard is defective *shrug* because I had a gap with and without the Coverbuddy so that’s moot. That about sums it up.Not great but not bad unless one of the charger/connector dots dislodge then you can’t use the keyboard with it. I also don’t have another case to compare this one to. I ordered it right after I ordered my iPad so I would get everything about the same time.

Fits live glovers
This is a great simple addition to Magic Keyboard. Only minor issues was charging ports only accept apple charging cables. If you need to use other charging cable you have to open up to allow to fit. Otherwise it will attach fine and keyboard works so all good.

Flimsy and doesn't allow the iPad to charge!
The case is way flimsier than I thought it would be, and 1/4 of the iPad edge had no protection. But the real reason this case is worthless is that the hole for the charging cord is not large enough to allow the USB c cord to charge the iPad so I have to take the case off anytime I need to charge!! Super annoying.
