Been having some hair loss lately due to stress and eating much less. I would see big clumps of hair in my shower drain and was vacuuming more than usual because I was shedding so much. I started taking 4 biotin pills a day with 2 1000 mg pantothenic acid pills to offset the fact that biotin makes skin oilier and it causes acne for me. I was taking pantothenic acid prior to starting biotin so can confidently say the changes I've seen are attributable to this supplement. The pantothenic acid dries up sebaceous glands so no more acne issue, while the biotin still does its job of stopping hair loss. The difference in hair loss has been dramatic for me. In just two weeks time, I've started noticing only a couple of hairs in the drain versus a clump of hair which has been a consistent issue. The change may have been more immediate, but I wasn't actively looking for results, just saw the stark drop in hair loss. Also when I run my fingers through my hair, there's no hair coming off onto my hands. Normally, I'd pull out a couple of strands. My eyebrows are darker too. These are just some apparent differences that I had to mention. Now it's not just a difference in my hair either. I noticed my nails are shinier. As far as skin, no changes are apparent because I take good care of my skin to begin with. One thing to point out is that this protocol can be maximized by taking biotin periodically throughout the day (smaller doses spread out), and a larger overall intake doesn't cause detrimental effects because it's water soluble so you just pee out whatever your body doesn't use. Yes, you go through the bottle faster but you reap more noticeable effects short and long term. It's up to you what route you take though based on your own needs. Update: My nails have gotten dramatically harder. Before the supplement, all my life really, I could bend my nails, they were very flexible. Now my nails don't bend at all, even with a lot of pressure against them they're very hard. I've also noticed baby hairs around my forehead. Wonderful supplement. Will continue to take at a larger daily dose of about 4 capsules a day spread out.

I have been taking Biotin for many years now. I started with a lower strength and gradually moved up to this one. The vitamin quality is good as I order several vitamins from this company. The size is just right and it's easy to swallow too.

Pros: Gave me a ponytail in 2 weeks. Think my hair legitimately grew over 1inch in 2 weeks on this. Cons: Intense on stomach especially when taking more than 1 pill at a time. Made my eye twitch taking 3 pills. Future recommendations: Stick to 2mg-5mg multiple times per day instead of 10mg. My growth results may be atypical because my hair has only grown 1-2" in 8 months previously - mostly due to sleeping only 1x (approx. 6-8hr) every 3 days. Sleeping + this gave me over an inch in 2 weeks. Would recommend you also include other healthy eating habits or vitamins like copper / etc. for you hair.
