This wire cutter has truly been a life saver. It feels well made and sturdy, and it helps me avoid painful cuts inside my mouth whenever the dentist doesn’t trim the wire enough. As my teeth shift and the wire extends, I can easily cut it myself without needing an extra trip to the dentist. This tool gives me comfort and peace of mind, and I highly recommend it to anyone with braces.

I've had the issue of braces wires shifting and poking out so many times that I needed a tool to cut it myself when no other tools were working. These wire cutters weresuper comfortable and easy to use and are built with good quality making it really fast to cut the wire. I had steel brace wire which made it resistant to nail clippers, diagonal cutters, even a dremel, but these snipped on the first go. The only concern is that it doesn't catch the wire that it cuts so be cautious about that loose piece flying, but it definitely does what it has to. Definitely worth the price.

I bought this because I was getting cut by the wires from my braces. I was very uncomfortable and the wire was poking out too far to be covered by wax or gooshi goo (which is amazing by the way). I live 1 hour and 20 minutes away from my orthodontist and I was getting tired of going back and forth every week. I tried two other brands of wire cutters and finger nail clippers( which proved to be awkward due to the wire being at the back of my mouth) the space is small and it’s hard to get light in unless you have some one that can hold a flash light for you, and they were not strong enough to cut the wire. Anyway the cutters are made of quality material and they are easy to use. They cut the wire with ease the only reason I’m not giving five stars is because they don’t hold the wire in, so it drops in your mouth and you will have to fish it out. Please be care not to swallow the wire. I accidentally did it once and I was uncomfortable for hours. I just kept eating bread and drinking liquids and eventually the wire moved, but I could feel it in my throat so be careful. Other then that. If you can’t find any that are designed to hold the wire that is cut buy these they will definitely do the trick.

My son had a wire from his braces that shifted and we couldn't get into the orthodontist right away. Thankfully these arrived over night and I was able to clip the sharp point, which helped greatly until we were able to get him in for an appointment.

I was able to cute the pesky wire from my braces. It worked well and didn’t create a lot of pressure.

This is amazing for that extra wire that’s poking out due to movement or it just didn’t get cut close to the brace. Helps saves the inside of your cheeks. Easy to use. The only down side, no catcher, so be ultra careful to get wire. Even though this is convenient, I would still use only as worse case scenario.
