The quality is good and the silicone pad on the bottom can be removed for dishwashing. For a given coffee bean and roast the coffee is smoother than it would be from my cafetiere. The filtering is effective but not perfect. A filter paper would be better but for the wat I drink coffee the pour over filter works very well. I'm enjoying the coffee ;-) Is it perfect? Not quite. I wish I knew if I could put the filter assembly in the dishwasher. I always hand wash it but a zap in a dishwasher once in a while would be nice. The quality of the jug is very good. I just wish this was supplied with a "lid" so that I could keep the coffee in the pot warm so that the second mug is hot. Leaving the jug open cools the coffee too much. Putting the filter assembly back on is a bodge which works but I think I'm going to end up cutting a "cork" to size to supply a lid. In the end I have no real complaints. To actually answer your question; I’m now using left over circular shaped filters from a regular coffee pot; but will be ordering the cone shape filters because they fit better. I also recommend using the bleach-free filters, they’re great because I can throw the coffee grounds and filter straight into my compost bin. It's good quality, makes good coffee and is easy to use and clean: highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible coffee maker, Incredible customer service *by T***Z on 30 January 2021* There is very little not to love about this coffee maker and I am now writing this review after using it almost every single day since June 2020. Cleaning Very easy to clean as the glass is super high quality and a simple hand wash with soapy water works really well for normal use. Even after months and months and months of use their was no staining on the inside or fading of the measurement marks The filter is similarly easy to clean and we ran ours through the dishwasher every third or fourth use with no issues and had no clogging or slowing of pour through. The filter also has shown zero sign of rust with very little maintenance aside from rinsing it out with warm water and air drying when done. Coffee Quality I found that using about 4-5 scoops with the included scooper made a very nice and not too strong brew and when filled past the top mark would often yield several cups. Often when brewing for me and my partner we would pour over with this amount of coffee until it reaches the filter and then finish the pour while holding the filter above the rising coffee. The filter added no taste and with the included silicon base it often stayed quite warm for about an hour while siting out. Warranty The warranty was very easy to use as we found out when the glass was unfortunately damaged and we reached out via email. They very quickly shipped out a replacement unit at no cost to us with no questions asked and were very friendly when contacted via email. Complaints Don't really have any aside from perhaps the handle on the filter being a bit small? Might just be that I have hands on the larger side. Otherwise no real issues in any other aspect of use or care.
