You can never have too many links. There are lots of manufacturers of links these days, but the these are colorful, uniform, strong, and reasonably priced. We keep use them in the play pen, on the stroller, and the car seat to keep items within reach and off the floor. Highly recommended

This toy is easy for the newborn to begin grabbing at one link if you place it in the infant's hand. Even if the baby drops the link, the infant can still feel the toy. Eventually, the baby will hold on to the link. This begins to build fine motor skills early. I then like to add more links together so the baby can now hear the links clinking. Therefore, the links can integrate visual, auditory, and the tactile senses. I love these Boomerings for early sensory development in the newborn infant!
