true soundscape
I was going to give the Soundcore Anker Q20+ headphones 4 stars; 5 for quality of sound and 4 for its features and ease of use. My mistake. I needed to read the specifications more carefully. The leaflet does correctly say that you can connect two Bluetooth devices simultaneously and that the earphones will reconnect to the last device after turning off the earphones. What I wanted to do was to use the earphones sequentially, rather than contemporaneously. So if using the earphones at home, then on phone when travelling, I needed to close the Home PC connection and keep the phone connection open, so it would recognize and automatically connect to phone, as this was the last connection. Connection to a third device is not difficult, nor reconnecting to a previous one as once the earphones are paired, it is a simple task to go to the App or Setting and click the Connection. I have made it sound complicated. It's not. Don't let this feature put you off purchasing what are, in effect, very competent earphones offering a true sound signature.I use the earphones mainly for listening to the radio, franceinter.fr and rai.it. So clarity of sound is vital for understanding. For this purpose I find the earphones faultless, even though the ANC is not 100% especially at low frequencies, they allow you to listen closely and are excellent at permitting you to focus on the transmission and comprehension of the spoken word. I would recommend for students or anyone needing to have clarity in the spoken word - plus access to the whole world of languages available on the www.They offer a true range from bass to treble and the sound split in the earphones is tonally balanced. The music I listen to is predominantly accoustic guitar, piano and vocal pieces. I find the stereo sound, certainly in Normal mode accurate, non-distorted for this type of music. You do lose some volume with the ANC mode, but it does have the advantage of cancelling a lot, not all, of the ambient sounds. For me, the Soundcore Anker 20+ is exceptional value.Battery life is extensive.I can't leave without paying respect to the Soundcore Customer Services Team.I did take my issue about sequential connectivity to them and they came back to me, addressing my particular issue, not just offering generic solutions. So, a team that does their job, seriously. I should have read the specifications carefully and then I would have been aware of what the earphones are designed to do and their limitations.A very good buy.Worth the money.

Great build quality and battery life
Use case:I bought these for causal music use and listening to podcasts etcInitial Impressions:Out of the box the build quality is excellent and uses quality plastics throughout. Buttons have a very good tactile feel.Comfort:Very comfortable and just about go over my average sized ears. I read a review which stated the Q20+ ear cups were more generous than the Q20/Q30 which drew me to this model. I can wear them for extended time without any issues.Sound Quality:Sounds quality is very good fat this price point Needs some EQ’ing but it’s quick and easy using to app to customise this.Battery Life:Battery life is epic as I don’t have to charge these for a week or so. I don’t use the noise cancelling so get even better battery life which I think is on a ball park with manufacturer states figures.Final Thoughts:Completely recommend these headphones as i’m impressed by the build quality, battery life and sound at this price point.

Very impressive for a "budget" headphone
Purchased recently as I needed a headset for work. The product info wasn't clear on microphone performance but some friendly reviewers offered some good advice. I took a punt, as my previous purchase was a complete fail and had to be returned. Build quality is so far solid for the few days I've had them. Sound quality is excellent, noise cancellation is good for the price point. As for the microphone, I have not had any negative feedback on the numerous conference calls I'm on every day since I purchased. They're comfortable to wear for extended periods over the ears, the headband is OK. Battery life is excellent and ease of setup is great, even switching between work laptop and phone is simple. Would recommend.

Amazing noise cancellation.
Had these for several months now & was lucky to buy them at the offer price. Was initially looking for noise cancelling headphones to cancel background noise (conversation) in the office & based my decision to buy from reviews here. Can honestly say I was gobsmacked with the noise cancelling when I first put them on. The controls are easy to master & allows you to cycle through normal, transparency & noise cancelling modes. The difference between normal & noise cancelling is astonishing & will make you smile when you first try them. You can literally switch off the outside world. In fact, 3 people who have since tried my headphones have now bought their own. They literally half any noise you can hear in normal mode (and they're already a good acoustic fit over the ears!). Transparency mode is amazing too as I can hear external conversations better than without the headphones on at all & still give you full stereo perception like normal hearing. The music sound quality is exceptionally good & very rich/deep.The battery life is incredible. From a single charge I can use them at work for days. They also have a socket for a 3.5mm stereo input (not that I've used it yet)The ability to pair with two Bluetooth devices is excellent too. At work I simultaneously pair with my phone & laptop.Only criticisms are.... 1). They don't quite extend down far enough for larger head sizes. 2). The Bluetooth connection is sometimes forgotten by paired devices & find myself having to re pair/force a reconnect at the start of the day 3). I've encountered a problem with a combination of these headphones, my laptop + Microsoft Teams. Sometimes I get bad pops & clicks in a Team meeting... but, having researched it's due to an audio latency issue in Windows/Teams/some Bluetooth devices & not necessarily a fault of these headphones. Besides, music playback from the laptop is otherwise fine. These headphones EASILY compare with other branded headphones costing £300+In summary, these Q20+ are an absolute bargain, exceptional capable & better than others costing MUCH more.
