Does this window have springs?

Hello, The Polaris Open Louver Vinyl Shutters are not windows they are shutters.

Will the color of the house show through the louvers?

If the angle of view is equal to the height of the louver one will not see the wall behind it! If one has to look up higher than the height of the louver the wall should not show because of the shadow of the louver against the wall itself!

Can these open and close? As in, can you close it to protect window?
