Good for grandsin

This helmet is easy to adjust to properly fit my child’s head. It stays level on my child’s head and is easy for him to take on and off independently. This weekend it proved its worth, protecting my child’s head when he was thrown out of a bike trailer during a neighborhood ride, landing on his head and shoulder without injury. We’re definitely replacing it with another one. Thank you Schwinn for designing a great child’s helmet!

This is a beautifully constructed helmet. It is excellent quality and looks great. I love the adjustable feature in the back. I gave it 4 stars because it runs really small. It is the third helmet I am trying after trying two toddler sizes and it is still too small. For a smaller kid I would highly recommend this product

I let my kids pick out their bike helmets when they started riding w/out training wheels on a weekend I was out of town. My 5 year old chose this helmet because the fire makes him ride faster! I'm glad he thinks so. The helmet arrived on time and fits him well. There's adjustments so he can grow into it a bit and he's able to snap/unsnap the chin strap on his own. It's a nice helmet that should last him a few years.

I had bought a different helmet on Amazon at the beginning of this summer for my big headed daughter to wear while bicycling and scootering. Well it was WAY too big and not adjustable at all. Previously we had really expensive but adjustable helmets from the local bike store and I didn't really want to pay $50 again for another helmet. I searched and was fairly sure from the reviews that this helmet was what I was looking for- and it was! The pads inside are comfortable, the rim in front provides a bit of shade, but most of all for me there is the dial adjuster in the back which allows for a really secure fit on my daughters head. It seems like it will fit for a few years too which makes me even happier! She loves the pattern and I might end up buying another one for her twin sister (who has a much smaller head!) I definitely recommend this helmet. My daughter is 5 but has a big head. Her twin sister could fit in this one as well but it's a bit big.

Just got this helmet today and tried it on my three year old son who will be 4 in 1 half months. It fits his 20 1/2-inch head great with room to grow. This is the first bicycle helmet I've had with the dial system which makes it much easier to adjust. I did have to adjust the chin straps as tight as they could go to be tight enough to fit his chin. It looks as if it will keep his head cool with the amount of vents it has. We haven't tested it on the road yet but from the looks of it and other reviews, I think this is going to be a great bicycle helmet for him safety wise and feature wise. This helmet says ages 5+ but I wouldn't buy starting at 5 years as I think you would just be out buying a new helmet the next year if it even fit at all.
