Google "Rat540" and read his test data concerning this particular version of Amsoil Signature Series 5w-30. The previous "GEN 2" version was the 2nd highest anti-wear result on his list of ~300 samples. This "GEN 3" latest version, has dropped 57 places!, meaning they have changed their additive formula making it an inferior oil to earlier generations.
