This was certainly the centerpiece of our displays on size alone. The base and gun are easy enough to assemble on their own, and there is nothing terribly challenging about fitting the individual parts together, but once assembled the barrel of the gun has a similar fatal flaw to the real world weapon this mimics, it's terribly unstable and WILL wilt. There are certain angles you can get the gun straight, but most of the time, unless you invest in a clear pole to prop the gun, it will be leaning. As much fun as the gun and build themselves are, the best part of the set is the one thing they seem to have left out of the information. The gun comes with around 8 unique Minifigs. (I think its around 8-10, It's packed for a move and I don't recall the exact number.) Now minifigs are one thing, but given the nature of the weapon advertised, I don't think I need to tell you just what historic European military they are based on. But even these pale in comparison to the true shocker, the leader of this unnamed faction is also part of the figures accompanying the set. My roommates and I were nearly in tears laughing about it.
