Spigen Air Skin Designed for Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G Case (2021) - Crystal Clear

Have ordered this brand in the past with great results and I Liked the clear, thin case at first but it started to developing hairline cracks on bottom corners, after just a few weeks. I thought It would be ok and I would deal with it because I already added my magnetic clip stand but got bigger, sad but still usable, Continued to use until, I did drop the phone, and the top cover split. Now it catches on things and is on usable after just 4 months

Whenever I get phones I try to keep the look and feel of it as close to the phone itself. So I got this case, it is made of clear hard plastic. The case has two parts and use this adhesive strips to stick to the phone. It feels sturdy, although I am not willing to drop test my phone. The phone feels fragile as it is.

Ordered this Sept 7, 21 (today is June 22, 22) so this is a full lifespan review. It survived relatively heavy use until today when the cracked corners started coming off in hunks. Now I need another new case but I'm going to try something different this time. Scratches and cracks show bad on this case and don't feel nice when you touch them. It's done its job. Phone would probably be in terrible shape without it. EDIT 12/14/22: Just bought a replacement case as this one became unsalvageable.

This clear case is perfectly snug & not loose. The case does offer extra padding. Luckily the padding isn't noticeable unless you're really looking for it. The padding in this clear case makes the clear case more snug compared to another clear case I received in different kit. Optional to remove the padding but helps keep the case sturdy. This clear case is perfect if you plan to have a skin cover for this phone. Make the phone stand out more & appreciate the details.

Thin and transparent case that does the job for protection for minor bumps, scratches, and drops. This case comes in two pieces with little adhesive stickers to keep it in place. The hinge is not protected. The longetivity and durability is questionable for a case at this price for the Spigen brand. After just a couple weeks of use, there are already some faint scratches and the case is a massive fingerprint/grease magnet from normal body oils. The biggest annoyance is that the case still allows quite a bit of dust and dirt inside. Taking off the case can be difficult without potentially cracking or breaking parts or reducing the adhesion from the stickers over time. I have some visible cracks in the corner of the case despite trying to carefully pry the case off the phone. In summary: Pros: - Thin and transparent - Shape makes finding the fingerprint sensor much easier and adds enough grippiness - Decent bumper level protection - Extra adhesive stickers in the box Cons: - Hard plastic case that is a fingerprint magnet, not very scratch proof, and cracks easily - Questionable durability for a plastic case of this price - Dust and dirt can still get under the case - Taking off the case to clean it will reduce the adhesion over time and potentially crack the case

This seems like a great case so far. I love how slim it is. It doesn't seem to add much bulk at all. I also bought one for my daughter and she has dropped her phone a few times already. So far it's been completely protected by the case and the case still looks excellent.

This case didn't last a month and it literally cracked to pieces the 1st time it was put to the test. The only good thing to say was that after several times if dropping the phone, the phone was left unscathed but the case was complete trash. This is the second case I purchased. I don't have many options to compare it to, but I will say that this one is the best for what I need. I wanted a case with enough of a lip on the edges to prevent the screen from being exposed fully to drops. I haven't dropped mine so I can't say whether it works in that regard, but it for sure adds protection. It's not slippery which makes it easier to hold. I'm still getting use to the thinness of the phone itself, but this case makes it easier to one hand. All of the cut outs are precise and the fingerprint reader is fully functional. I chose the clear just to try something different the adhesive strips are so small and show minimally if at all. Definitely recommend

I returned the first case I received because it started to develop hairline cracks which got bigger and bigger. I did not drop the phone or anything, still this cracks developed. I think the material is too brittle and the cracks happen from open and closing the phone. They sent me a replacement but this also started to crack after a few days on the corners of the bottom end. I had hope I just got a lemon the first time around, but this is a recurring problem for sure. So disappointed. The design is nice, but the bottom sometime slips a bit. I think I will have to buy a different brand :(. Just an update: i got a free replacement from Spigen, so no complaints here. But only after a few days of use hair line cracks started to appear on the bottom part, radiating out from the corners. I think what happens here is that the bottom part which is held in place by adhesive stripes gets a lot of stress when you open and close the phone which leads to the cracks. The clear material is simply to brittle to hold up. I got a new clear case from a competitor in the meanwhile and it is a lot better. The material is just as thin and clear, but it has a soft touch to it, does not feel brittle and hard like the spigen case. It does not need adhesives to stay in place either. And above all it does not crack. Spigen, you need to work on this.

La partie collante grise ne va pas du tout sur mon zflip3 en crème. Je l'ai retiré avec précaution mais il reste des résidus de colle. Pas terrible. D'autant plus que ma coque n'a pas bougé depuis que je l'ai retiré donc à mon avis ça ne sert à rien, sinon à enlaidir le tél. Sinon la coque est très bien, extrêmement fine, bien conçue, avec des petits rebords où il en faut pour plus de sécurité. Le prix est élevé mais je ne me sens pas arnaquée, je paye une conception soignée et je le ressens à l'utilisation, elle sait vraiment se faire oublier. Il ne me reste plus qu'à trouver un solvant pour retirer ces résidus de colle, et ce sera bien. Svp, retirez ces bandes grises moches inutiles.

Ich habe das Flip3 in mattem schwarz, habe darum auch die Air Hülle in schwarz bestellt, meist sieht man ja die durchsichtige Variante. Ich finde, dass das schwarz viel edler wirkt, wird auch nicht direkt als "Fremdkörper" am Handy erkannt. Es passt wunderbar. Innen sind kleine klebepunkte damit die beiden Teile fest halten. Es sind Ersatzklebestreifen dabei aber die Hülle ist nicht gedacht, um täglich ab- und angebaut zu werden, das sollte man sich bewusst machen. Da die Hülle aber so dünn ist und quasi gar nicht auffällt (da das Handy darunter die gleiche Farbe hat) und sich das matte Material sehr gut anfasst (viel wertiger als bei so einer transparenten, glatten Hülle) habe ich auch nicht das Bedürfnis, die Hülle zu entfernen. Tipp für die Leute die sich ebenfalls das Panzerglas für das Außendisplay bestellen: Erst die Hülle anbringen, danach das Glas. Dann sieht man genau, an welche Stelle das Panzerglas muss, es gibt keine Ränder, somit fällt es kaum auf.
