Solid bike with beautiful paint job

The bike is sturdy and has good parts but the directions that came with it were generic and directly more towards a different bike. Need to have some one who knows bikes to put together.Once together, (had to have bike tech guy check and adjust the gears) rides great and has taken a beating on the trails...Would recommend - esp for the price!

The media could not be loaded. This is a great bike. I really like the style. Like a retro vibe. I bought it to ride with my family with my two kids and wife. I don't need all the bells and whistles. Just a nice bike to putt around on. I was easy to assemble. Packaging was good. I like the seat. It's comfortable. My neighbor liked it. I said Amazon baby! If you just need a simple no nonsense bike this is it. Price was good. The only thing I can say was I wish it was delivered faster but that's not the bikes fault.

The front break keeps rubbing no matter how much adjusting I do to it.

Had my second ride this past weekend (6/22/19), I rode the C&O Bike Trail Harpers Ferry, WV, and managed a 22 mile trek, it is was a beautifully functioning bike and would encourage you to get one if so, inclined. I’ve looked at the high end units ranging from $900 and upwards to $8000, what a shocker!!! My Hiland, I think, is comparable, for a person like me starting out. Had to practice shifting, you know, like driving a car, familiarizing yourself. Will have to get a more comfortable seat though. Ride smart, get a helmet and padded bike shorts. Took it to professional bike shop for assembly. Thanks established riders for your tips.

I like how easy it is to assemble but it doesn't provide any information how to fine tune the brakes

I have logged 85 miles since unboxing my Hiland, and so far so good! Good looking machine, everything seems to be adjusted properly out of the box. Be aware that this is a crate bicycle, it will be delivered to you "some assembly required." That being said, the assembly was fairly easy and straightforward, and the necessary tools were included. Bottom line: I recommend this bike!
