Great addition to the kitchen!
This KitchenAid Spider Strainer is a game-changer in my kitchen! I've always struggled with fishing out pasta, dumplings, or veggies from boiling water, but this strainer makes it so incredibly easy. The wide, shallow bowl and the perfectly spaced wires (the "spider" design) scoop up large amounts of food quickly and efficiently, without letting anything slip through. It's also fantastic for skimming foam or impurities from stocks and sauces. The stainless steel construction feels very durable and high-quality, and it's surprisingly lightweight and comfortable to hold. Cleanup is a breeze, whether I hand wash it or toss it in the dishwasher. I use it almost daily and it still looks brand new. If you're looking for a versatile and reliable strainer, I highly recommend this KitchenAid Spider Strainer!

Well-made and very satisfying to use
Beautifully made, comfortable to use and very useful. Definitely worth the cost of going with Kitchenaid. Misleading name, though — it's completely ineffective at straining spiders as they just crawl through the gaps. We find that using a sieve works much better.
