An Illustrated Guide to the Apostle Paul: His Life, Ministry, and Missionary Journeys

I enjoyed this book. It’s well written and an easy to read. There’s a lot of information, but it doesn’t read like a textbook, more like a story. It has plenty of Biblical references to ground it to where you are in the scriptures. The author uses the details in the stories to give insight that I hadn’t thought of. It was accompanied by great illustrations, maps, and pictures. My gripe with these was that I couldn’t see them well, and couldn’t make them bigger to get more clarity. To be clear, I enjoyed it, and recommend it. I read the kindle version.

Enjoyable and informative read - every Bible student should buy it.

Book arrived damaged with the cover bent in the middle. Expected it to be in a better condition for the price paid.

This is my type of book. Lots of pictures, historical background, and the life of Paul taken from the Bible. This book combines all the biographical information we know about Paul from Acts as well as from his letters.

Like many Christians studying the New Testament I had questions about Paul. This book by Alan S. Bandy answered all of them. It was such a great read and at times I felt like I was reading a novel about a great adventure with a hero of faith. If you have questions about Paul and his ministry work I highly recommend picking this up. I bought it through the Kindle and it was great on my phone. The illustrations are added bonus. Thank you Alan for a great book and for answering many questions I had. The detail and the additional information was fantastic. Your brother in Christ ~Brad~
