In addition to easy to follow recipes and traditional ones you’ll be excited to try, the author masterfully includes brief glimpses into childhood memories and food experiences that are a delight. All in just the right measure. If you like to cook or want to try cooking, this book is a must have.

This cookbook stays on my counter. Lots of good, easy to follow recipes for foods I grew up on but never learned to make. My dad loved my first made from scratch cake. Highly recommend.

The recipes were wonderful. Being from the South I can tell you this book is the realdeal. A great job explaining how each recipe is put together.
