Taos Footwear Unisex Convertawool Wool Clog

These are very comfortable. I mostly wear them at home (work from home), but i have worn them to the store a couple times. I will not wear them walking unless I get a good insert or my feet get stronger. I'm getting over a plantar fasciitis flare up, and have been doing a lot of stretches and foot strengthening exercises. I appreciate the arch support, and my feet don't get hot. This is the first time I've worn zero heel to toe drop shoes, and my back feels better because of it. Overall, I love these and may end up with a second pair. They are true to size. I wear 9.5 and purchased the 9-9.5. Love the dark brown color.

Great value, they’re sturdy and well made. I have higher arches and theses have a nice arch support making them both comfortable and supportive. I like the color( black) and look. Buying a second pair.

Well like many of you who I guess, I’ve been on a hunt for the perfect slipper and it’s been a challenge. Tried most of the main brands and some of the least known, such as Haflinger, Glerups, Kyrgies, Olukai, Born, Birks etc and absolutely none of them came close to what I felt when I stepped into these Taos! The fit is like a glove for my foot. The arch support is so glorious my arches never felt so good! It’s like stepping on an arch cloud. To be clear, we’re not talking about fake plush that goes away after a month, it’s the real deal, it’s what the support the foot should have to feel good after a whole day of work. They’re so great, I don’t want to take them off and can’t wait to put them on in the morning. They totally screwed my walking on bare feet deal! Ok it’s true, they may be a tad expensive..but the insole itself is $45 and it’s worth every dollar! The wool comes from Italy, the shoes are meticulously hand made and crafted to excellence (compared to other handmade slippers I’ve tried) and the rubber sole and reinforced toe box guarantee longevity! I did not intend to spend this much money initially but my feet were hurting too much in other slippers, I had to do something..this is it! Speaking about a feature of the shoe that I was concerned it wouldn’t work, the “convertibility”, well, it works!! Not only it works flawlessly, much better than the Olukai for example, but it adds a nice little cushioning on the heel which is absolutely fabulous! Finally, the wool is not itchy, happy to wear these with or without socks. Regarding sizing, this is interesting, I ordered a 10/10.5 since I usually wear 10 (or size 43 EU). I oddly received instead a 10.5/11 (or size 44 EU) and to my surprise they are just perfect in width and length. So not sure if the company sends the half size up since they know they run a bit smaller, or if that was a mistake. Either way I’m so very happy with this purchase that I wanted to share the experience to you all! Hope you’ll enjoy your new pair of Taos as much as I did. PS. I bought them because my wife got a pair a month ago and she swears by them, and these are the only unisex they offer (they’re mainly a women’s brand). These look great on a man I think. I have been searching for a indoor house shoe / slipper that would provide good arch support for all day wear. I finally ante’d up and purchased a pair of Taos after trying many other brands & being disappointed. The Taos are exactly what i wanted. Seriously!! They fit like a dream and keep my bare feet a comfortable temperature without feeling sweaty. The shoes are so well constructed and support my foot in all the right ways. I don’t like a stiff sole because it causes me to trip. I need more of flexible sole and these Taos offer just that. Truly a great pair of house shoes that can easily slip on / off. About me- regular size 8.5 (ordered 8-8.5 & wear without socks comfortably) I have a high instep. These fit so nicely, no issues on the top of my foot. I have a medium width foot- these have a comfy toe box. Not excessively roomy, just right.

These are my favorite casual shoe ever. I gave four stars because the color wasn't what I was expecting. I ordered the warm sand and the color should be called coffee or something, they are much darker than I wanted. But I love them for the comfort and style.

Really nice. They were a gift and well loved. A year later and she still wears them constantly and loves the support. They still look great. I'm considering getting a pair for myself.

I needed some shoes to wear around the house. I have terrible issues with my feet and fallen arches. I have some of the clogs in this brand and I love the support that they give me, but I don’t like how heavy they are and that there’s no back. I wear them to take the dog out or get the mail, but I didn’t really want to get a pair of those for inside because they’re so heavy and I have to hang onto them with my foot since there’s no back. Anyway I saw these and I decided to try them. The fit is perfect Just like the clogs. I wear a size 9 and I got the size that they recommended which was 40, and it fits exactly as it should. It says it’s convertible so I’m assuming you can fold the back portion down and it would be a clog. I’m not sure how feasible that is I tried it and wasn’t super impressed I think you would have to put the little flap under the insoles to actually wear them that way. Anyway, these fit my feet perfectly there not too loose and not too tight and a little piece on the back is just enough to keep them on my foot instead of flying off. Compared to the clogs these have slightly different pitch. The clogs have a little bit more of a heel so your foot is positioned slightly different. I think I prefer that for the support that it gives my particular feet, but these do a reasonably good job, Even though there is no lift to the heel. These shoes have the same arch insole that the clogs have. I needed some thing with a high arch and these shoes seem to have that. Some people might not like it, but if you also have a high arch, these are perfect. I also think that they’re cute enough to wear outside, but I am going to wear them inside. I picked the darker leopard because I thought it would hold up better overtime. I know these are super expensive, but my feet are important and I feel like I need to invest more in footwear that gives me proper support. Thanks for reading my review
