I think it is worth repeating the blurb on the back cover since it was not mentioned in the product description: "In a world of would-be psychics making great claims for themselves with little evidence to back them up, Paul Selig is the real thing. His book occupies a special place in the literature of channeled messages. I Am the Word is urgent, strong, always clear and lucid, and told with grace and wit." My sentiments exactly. If you have read quality channeled material before you know that it speaks for itself, it has a self-identifying signature that opens your heart as you read. This book has it.You can sample the pages on GoogleBooks and see the process on NewRealities TV with Alan Steinfeld.To me it is like a miniature crash course version of and sympatico with Course in Miracles workbook minus the theoretical underpinnings of the text. Don't be in a hurry to rush through this book, take your sweet time and immerse yourself, reading and rereading as your focus drifts. Each chapter contains a descriptive discussion intermixed with a handful of affirmations to be used with the chapter contents. Some affirmations are very short and easy to memorize and others may exceed a page in length. The prologue explains the need for this book in relation to the coming quantum leap: "What you will experience on the other side of this shift will be unlike anything you have experienced in your lives. This is the promise of the Christ to be in the heavens while being on this plane. This is the promise of this time." It is a quick study course that takes advantage of and works with the new energies that are upon us. This book is about outgrowing the personal and cultural ceiling that has entrapped us. "You all have the ability to become a tuning fork for the higher frequencies. You are intended to be this." Are you ready to stake your claim? What you stand to lose is a "...complete transformation of how you understand your perspective in the physical realm" "I am word" as a phrase is a call to spiritual action. "When we say to you, `I Am Word,' we are decreeing ourselves as the Creator in action." Forgiveness is a necessary element in your attunement. Once attuned the illusory nature of the physical realm and our supposed separation from the creation will be dispelled. "And your knowing must be anchored into present time for it to be valid." "Everything is happening now. There is no other time. There never has been. There will be." "When you ascribe to the belief that you are free of time in a real way, you align to the next level of frequency." This is a sample of a short affirmation: "I affirm that my vibration is lightening and lifting in a way that I may know, trust, and feel. I align to the Creator in all ways, who will support me in bringing forth this frequency fully and with light to change my being on a level of structure and form to own myself in consciousness as an aspect of the Creator fully realized, embodied in light. I am now changing the physical form that I stand in. I am now changing the consciousness that I inhabit and respond to. I am now changing the alignment I have always held to a higher alignment. And in doing this, I allow myself to become Christed in form...., I bring to me the magnitude of light at the highest frequency that my system can realize" "I am that I am. If you think a book affirmations and wisdom in keeping with the spirit of these quotes could transform your life, you know the next step. "Those who require this text will be brought to it." This book is intended to be the first of a set of three volumes and is particularly suited to serious participants in twelve step programs and other spiritual growth endeavors.

What I like about this book - the first of a channeled self-help series of three - is that regardless of where these life lessons come from (in this case channeled beings from "out there"), it's darn good advice. It is read by the channeler-author Paul Selig, who first received these lessons in 2009 in "completely coherent sentences, paragraphs and chapters." Selig shares about how he channels to prepare for this hugely significant evolutionary time, along with specific wisdom teachings that all seekers will find invaluable. Selig is a highly respected participant in the field of human evolution and mysticism. In the Audible version which is what I have, Selig reads his book, and his voice is very pleasant, his writing clear. Topics include the Christed self, the nature of energy, and the awakening of humankind, which he views as the work of our time. Selig also has a robust website with much additional material to supplement this and the two latter books in the series, much of it at no charge. Consider this book - I Am The Word - as your entry point to the world of channeled wisdom in general, and to Selig's thoughtful work in particular.

Throughout the history of humanity, there have been those persons who have cultivated a connection with the Creator. In most cultures and ethnic groupings, there are lineages of those who were instruments, vehicles or prophets for the transmission of divine wisdom and knowledge. These transmissions, through prayer, mediation and sometimes known as channelings, have been ongoing on an individual as well as group or global level. For me personally, as a little girl I was drawn to live the life of the Christ, eager to learn how Jesus did it and I could upgrade and duplicate it. There was a certain "energetic feeling" I had whenever I prayed or thought of God and Jesus during nightly inquires about everything in my life. During my conversations with them, I got that God loved me, and that I was His child, just like Jesus. These realizations were the certainties of my young life. This assurance garnered as everything I sought an answer to was always provided and then some, with me only having to focus my attention on knowing that the outcome would reveal itself to me. I found my answer in plain sight throughout creation. This was the beginning of my joy. When I had my first adult personal experience in working with beings from the highest realms of divinity, I was grateful and humbled by the wholeness of the learning experience. I knew its validity as the "feeling" of it harked back to my childhood when all was revealed to me. Since that time, I've begun to identify the feeling as a form of energetic resonance; which was very present when I first heard the Beings speak. Through their Guidance and urgings, and with this same energetic resonance being my indicator of truth; I have since learned of many other beings, both human and other agents of the divine, such as the Ascended Masters, who have inspired humans to go deeper and seek higher for truth, peace and happiness and wholeness in accomplishing what you as soul and spirit are here to complete. Another of my key requisites has been the Golden Rule. Either everyone was special or no one was. As challenging as this was for me personally to accept, the truth of it was a constant within me. As everything was of the Creator, who is equally present within all of creation, how could it be otherwise? Whatever the teachings, they had to be applicable to everyone regardless of name, rank, and level of economic servitude. When I finally completed reading the channeled blogs that had been posted on the website, I recognized that I Am The Word is another very important work in this ongoing tradition. That the energetic resonance of truth and wisdom found within this work resonates with me greatly is the reason for my gratitude. That and it came to me through an angel, at a time when I most needed to be reminded to "seek ye first" a higher resonance, so I can recreate what turned out with me to be my own self-designer crisis and trails into divine exhilaration and growth. I am grateful for Paul's willingness to be a human conduit for this information to flow through. I further appreciate that he allowed for this evolution to unfold without allowing his own personal resistance (of whatever issue we create for ourselves) from totally blocking this process and thereby limiting others access to sharing this particular expression of it. I appreciate his own personal struggles with embodying what is being presented and finding his own balance and identity as his highest self while adjusting to an ongoing flow of energetic, interactive streaming consciousness in the form of urgings, promptings, clarifying exposes, information exchange, guidance, attention alerts, humor, infinite scenarios, all expressing itself through his undivided awareness of and connection with Source. That it is serving as a delightful affirmation and clarify-er of peace for me is another gift of this work. I can continue on with new tools and ways of being with myself and others in my knowing. Absolutely fantastic and transforming

This is the first ever book that attempts to raise your vibration as you go on reading. This book is an experience. I was led to this book in the most magical way through someone I never knew before. I believe it is apt to say that one needs to be 'ready' to take this information in and to experience this book. If you have come across this book, you are meant to buy it and read it.
