I saw a review about someone getting burned and one where someone said it had no heat but I have not had these experiences. I do have sensitive skin but have never experienced any kind of burn unless getting wet too soon after removal. Skin MUST be dry 30 minutes (check time on package) before and after use. As for the heat, it is slow but within 30 minutes, I feel it and such relief. I can't recommend these enough and frequently share with friends; some of whom like it and some of whom don't.
