Nice projection output. Larger and clearer than other clocks I tried and then returned. It also has a better angle and rotation knob so you can angle the clock and straighten the display on the ceiling. It projects time only, indoor temp only, outdoor only or scrolls all three changing every few seconds. Nice unit, I'm keeping this one.

If you have this near your bed and like the room to be dark, it has an automatic dimming feature that you can set to turn the back light off at an hour of your choosing. The types of clocks with color screens need a constant backlight to be legible and I found them too bright for the room or not bright enough to be legible. The projector works well and has a high and low setting. I suspect that some reviews that mention a small size for the projected temps and time are for a different model. Notice that some reviews are more than 10 years old. Many of these items try to fit too many features into a small screen leaving all features hard to read. Not the case with this item. This is a basic clock and in/out thermometer. My opinion, if you want a weather station you probably don't want it in your bedroom. NO USB port on this item. Look at photos, you won't see one. I do not use the alarm, the soft music from your phone is a much better way to wake up. One month later I especially like the auto dimming feature. The display works perfectly, large and legible.

This works great - sets itself, projection that can be dimmed, indoor/outdoor temps, and you can set the backlight with 4 different levels of brightness, including auto that turns it down at a prescribed time. But.... if you use the 'auto' feature, it brings the brightness to the highest level for daytime, not the level you set it at. Odd that it won't remember your preferred day setting. So I just leave it on off.

Keeps great time and the projection of time onto ceiling is very convenient, making it easy to see what time it is with little effort when you wake up during the night

I love these clocks!! They self-adjust to the correct time by receiving the world-wide short wave signal. The projection of the time on the ceiling or wall is fantastic, clear and large. I don't have to turn over to see my clock at night, I just look at the ceiling. The projection is not overly bright to keep me awake. The clocks last about 10 years or so, and this is my third one. My last clock failed because the batteries got old and leaked out causing corrosion. I definitely will buy this again if I need to replace my nightstand alarm clock. The company sells a clock with a color LED screen for more money, but I think this has everything I need at a very reasonable price. It comes with an instruction flier that is clear and easy to understand. With the instruction manual, the clock is easy to set up and use. Don't loose the instructions. It is easy to forget which buttons do what.

The projected time and temperature is plenty bright enough, even when not set to the brightest setting. It has several adjustment levels. The outdoor temperature sensor is working as it should. I tried to mount it about 50 feet from the house in the shade (so the Sun won't affect it), but the signal apparently won't travel that far. When it loses sensor signal, both the indoor and outdoor temperature readings are about the same. I don't need an alarm clock. The clock is accurate. Changed from MDT to MST without intervention. I like.

What a great clock! I wanted a clock that is easy to setup and clear to read from across the room. This clock even allowed me to adjust the rotation of the display as the best display for my bedroom has the clock set at an odd angle but the projection is set at a perfect parallel line just above the window. I live in a very rural area and the power goes out a lot but the battery back up leaves me with no issues with resetting the clock when the power comes back. I may buy another clock just to keep it as a backup incase this one ever craps out. I highly recommend the purchase of this product.

This La Crosse atomic alarm. clock is a solid purchase. It gives you the most accurate time, lighted display with 4 adjustable settings and a projection on the ceiling. This clock comes with the clock itself and an outdoor receiver. Just insert batteries and. you're ready to go. The display is extremely sharp with 4 level settings of brightness and OFF. Projecting on the ceiling lets you select the time, time & temp or OFF. The projection feature has some issues however. The first clock I received was too fuzzy. The replacement was fine. I do have some issues with this alarm clock. Although the image on the ceiling was fine, I could not adjust it a full 360º to line up with my sleeping position. The other problem was that it took 4 tries (installing batteries) before the clock showed the accurate time. If you want an atomic alarm clock with great features, this should be one to consider. Just be aware of isolated issues.

Handy clock. Easy to setup and is working well. The outdoor temperature feature is great.

There is no power going from my socket to the clock. Anyone else has the same problem?

Fantastic clock, I am very happy with it. It looks superb, very modern and chic. Made of good quality materials. My wife and I are both thrilled. I had three minor issues: The remote temperature sensor would not talk to the clock. La Crosse Technology technical support is great. It was fixed quickly, as the procedure is very simple once you know it. The clock did not automatically switch back to standard time. Tom in technical support explained this takes up to 5 nights to switch, as it is only done at night. Thanks, Tom! Both issues were quickly fixed within about 5 minutes on the phone. The third issue was entirely my fault. Note: if the projector keeps shutting off after about 10 seconds, ensure the power adapter is plugged into an outlet that has electricity. Yeah, my wife got a chuckle out of that one when she solved it. What is even more funny, is I am an electronics expert and should have known better. The clock help documentation could be greatly improved on the website and/or PDF. The projector is not a separate clock, thank goodness. The clock now matches all of my other clocks that are synced with the atomic clocks. The projected time is bright and huge, both of which me and my wife really like. I really like this clock. It has made my life easier when clocks change, or there is a power outage, which we get a few times a year. It has saved me a lot of frustration.
