SIMPLE GREEN Cat Stain & Odor Remover - Enzyme Cleaner for Cat Urine, Feces, Blood, Vomit (1 gallon Refill)

I wanted to try an enzyme cleaner, for my cat who pees in his sleep, because my research said that these types of cleaners are some of the only ones that actually destroy the chemicals in the urine that cause the odor. The first one that I tried was Nature's Miracle Original Stain and Odor Remover which I purchased at Dollar General. it worked fine except for one big problem - the overwhelmingly powerful cover scent that they use that I think started to burn a hole in my brain. That stuff went right in the trash after the first use. Next, I tried "Zeiff Pro-Grade Multi-Purpose Probiotic Enzyme Cleaner". It worked well, had no odor, and at $25 a gallon, was a good price compared to a lot of the other enzyme cleaners which can be very expensive. Then I found Simple Green enzyme cleaner. Odorless, it works just as good, if not better, than the others I've tried, and only costs $11 a gallon. It's a no-brainer. And if you do like a little smell good when you clean, put in a few drops of essential lemon oil. it will make the air smell fresh without being overpowering.

I have a cat who pees outside of her litter box when either the box isn't clean enough for her fine sensibilities, or when she's under stress. She pretty much always goes in the same areas. I got this cleaner to both deal with the smell and also dissuade her from continuing to go in those places. This product works like an absolute charm for the smell. Like seriously miraculous. As for getting her to stop going it has been completely ineffective. So yeah, it half works. I'm going to have to find a different product to discourage her.

I have loved my husband for almost a decade. However, I have loved my cat for almost 15 years. So when she pees on the floor in front of her litter box, I’m not going to boot her out on a whim, much to my husband’s dismay. Luckily for my husband, he has two household jobs: taking out the trash and taking care of the cat area. Unfortunately for my husband, as I mentioned above, she sometimes pees on the floor. In my opinion, she does this as a power move. I would, too, if I were her. It’s important to note that we have taken her to the vet a ton, but can’t find out why she does this. Not that my husband has asked, but im pretty sure it’s because he doesn’t scoop her box to her standards. I’d do it myself, but alas, power moves run in my family (and I’ve been constantly pregnant or with a newborn for 8 years) So why do I share all of this family feline drama? Because it leads us to reviewing this excellent product. As much as I love my cat, I am not fond of her urine smell. This product demolishes odors and helps us not have a gross house. Without this product helping the cat smell when a power move is made, my husband would probably have made me choose between him and the cat. I’d miss him very much. Thanks for saving my marriage!

The previous residents of my house had dogs that peed on the concrete floor of my basement. A LOT. So of course, my friend's dog came over, smelled it, and peed on the floor too. And my cats smelled it and peed on the floor many times. I have been fighting this floor for two years. I tried a bunch of different enzyme cleaners to try and destroy the odor and stop my cats from continuing to try and mark over the smells of other animals once and for all, but nothing lasted for more than a week or two. I used this stuff in a small hand pump pressure sprayer and saturated the floor of the room of my basement that was stinky. That was about 3 weeks ago and we are still odor free! I will say, it took the full jug to do about 300 sq. ft. but I really did soak the floor and used whatever was left in the sprayer to do the worst areas a second time, but it was so worth it to me! I just bought more to do the other side of the basement to kill the musty floor smell from when my water heater broke and the carpet got soaked (yep-- carpet. Who carpets a basement in New England?!). I ripped out the carpet, but the floor itself is holding on to that musty smell. I am certain that this will bust it!

If I had reviewed this product the first day there would be five stars. But after using this product daily for a few weeks with one cat...... Run don't walk to another product. While it cleans it does not do anything for the smell. Sprayed this in a problem area let it soak it in...came back scrub...another spray to soak in...next day smells like it was never cleaned. Tried again repeat the previous steps come back the next day....worse than the prev day. I was looking for a cheaper option but you yet what you pay for. Sad part is even though I catch the mess immediately and clean and spray...after using this there is an odor. The pee didn't get a chance to sink in or dry but smells bad after using this product. Had to go back to my tried and true to rid my house of the smell. ILL BE RETURNING FOR A REFUND.
