I bought this hard drive with some hesitation, but it turned out to be an excellent decision! Despite its Xbox branding, it works perfectly with my PS5. The 4TB of storage is incredibly generous, allowing me to store numerous games, media files, and more without ever running out of space. Setting it up was a breeze – I simply plugged it into my PS5's USB port, and it was good to go. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection ensures fast transfer speeds, making game installations and load times a smooth experience. brought this specifically for the xbox and now on PC it works well still, note that if you do that same move you need to format the hard drive to get it to show and be able to work with the computer, however it will work if you go straight onto the computer. whilst the speeds aren't exactly nvme speeds but then you get 4tb for a much lower price and personally this is my second hard drive now as I like the option for space. The drive has worked since day one and hasn't crashed at all and none of the files have been corrupted since ownership. the storage is really good too, 4tb is a massive amount for games and other files plus having 2 bumping up to 8tb really there isn't much you can't download. The connection is usb is 3.2 for the better transfer speeds, again whilst you aren't getting the speeds of the nvme drives it is still really good transfer speeds. overall a great purchase the compact size does allow for easy portability if you need too, and the light green bar does give a little nice flair to the drive. The drive also comes with a 1 year backup warranty if anything is lost which is a nice additional touch to purchasing this the drives have not missed a beat and thoroughly happy with my purchases.

Great addition to my Xbox

Thought having the xbox series X with 1TB would be enough storage for me tbh as most the time when I'm finished with games I delete them to add more in the future but then buying the new call of duty games etc take some much storage up so needed more storage and would of liked the cartridge one like the old playstation one's but they're over priced as cost more with less storage then the seagate hard drives so got it for a Christmas present and surprised how small and compact it is,the USB cable isn't very long tbh but use it from the port on the front of the console and tucked away up the side Like the green light and so easy to set up and use and always transferring from main storage to hard drive,I've heard that you need to keep series s/x games on console to play but shouldn't be a problem as its easy enough to transfer back and forth

It works for some Xbox series games but most are not compatible I would recommend only if you have a large library of Xbox one games, it mostly doesn’t work for Xbox series games and it would be better to get an external SSD

Works spot on, no complaints apart from time it takes to move game from SSD to the HHD & vice versa, which I new going in from research, to get quicker times = a lot more money, so for the price is a bargain only big problem I have is have 120 games to download or transfer to it. I'm half way through now & used 1TB so far mint! It's series S/X games that take the longest as you'd expect as they're the only games you need to keep transferring back & forth to play obviously you can't play them on this harddrive but saves hrs of re-downloading games like RDR2 COD Blackops cold war GTAV all big GB games & with energy prices now that's a big plus

Works well with my Xbox Series X for storing games. For a HDD it is fast, and a reliable way to store and play Xbox One and 360 games, plus as a place to store Series X games. Be aware that an external HDD or SSD like this can only store Series X games, to play them you need a Storage Card or the internal drive.
