A great choice!
As a tradition, our family tie-dyes every Independence Day! There are seven of us so you can imagine how much dye we go through. It can get expensive and we always end up with a bunch of leftover bottles once the dye is gone, so this was a great option to have. This last year was our first year using this brand the colors are bright and vivid, I leave my diet in longer than most. Usually 48 hours and then I soak in a one-to-one mixture of white vinegar and cold water for 30 minutes. It does the trick! I will purchase this again.

Fun, Affordable, and Colorful Tie Dye Powder!
My nieces, nephews, and I absolutely love tie dye, but buying individual bottles was getting expensive. These dye powder packets have been a game changer! They’re super inexpensive and go a long way—just add a little bit of powder to your bottle, and you're set for a creative session. I really appreciate the huge variety of color options (26 different colors!), which lets us mix and match for endless possibilities. This product has made our tie dye sessions even more fun and budget-friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add some vibrant creativity to their projects!

26 different colors! No need for messy mixing!
Ordered the 26 color pack. All packs arrived in perfect shape. It would benefit the seller to have SOME basic instructions with it, but you get nothing but dye. These are "Fiber Reactive" dyes, best results with 100% natural fibers (cotton, rayon etc) and pre-soak w/ Soda Ash (NOT baking soda). Soda Ash is also known as "Washing Soda" (in the U.S.). This can be found in the laundry aisle of most grocery stores and bought for cheap. Put "Fiber Reactive tie dying" in a search engine, there is a TON of information to insure success. There are "Pro" brands of this type of dye (made in the U.S.) but cost QUITE a bit more, so you are only able to buy a few colors and mix if you want to keep it cheap. The mixing can sometimes take longer than the rest of the tie dye process, so not fun for a kids tie dye party. I have several of these "pro" colors and bought the 26 color kit to mix with them which worked well. You often need to use more of this type to get the same rich color and doesn't seem to mix quite as well. BUT....still a excellent value, particularly for a kids tie dye party scenario.

Used for Ice Dye
Super easy to use, and I used these for ice dying, after washing the shirt the colors are definitely more muted but still very pretty! So if you’re looking for a bright colored tye-dye shirt do not use these dyes. AND YES I let the dyes sit on the shirt for 48+ hours before rinsing. See pictures of before and after rinsing the color out. (I used Bright Yellow, Matcha, Brown, Tibetan Cyan and Turquoise Blue)

Great powder pack
I recently started doing tie die and so I bought this powder pack. I am very impressed with how vibrant the colors are and the shirts have held their color so far.

QCQHDU 26 colors dye packets
I returned these dyes. After sitting in the dye for 24 hrs, the garment is rinsed out in cold water. Excess dye is supposed to run off leaving your beautiful design on the cloth. In this case,, most of the dye washed out. I followed instructions: I had 'scoured' the garment (washed in detergent and hot water to remove anything the manufacturer had applied to the fabric) , soaked it in soda ash for 20+ minutes (2c to a gallon of water), squeezed the garment almost dry, and used the ice dye process. It sat for 24hrs. After rinsing it I washed it in hot water with detergent, and that pretty much removed the remaining dye. The result was a very light watercolor effect. These dyes may be cut with something cause they are not concentrated. Find a reputable dye seller. There's a good one in Petaluma CA. After using theirs I know these are useless.

Not impressed with the colors
It was fun however the colors were not vibrant. So if you are going for bold maybe try less than 8oz of water for the entire packet. I bought this color option for the sole purpose of obtaining a color most like one of my favs that's been discontinued. All and all the kids had fun but it's not what I had hoped for. There are no directions included and the colors stamped on the packets aren't really correct- one good thing is that my fingers weren't dyed for a week- I'd say this is more of a set for beginners, not for seasoned crafters such as myself except for the part where there are no directions
