With a remarkable 4:1 shrink ratio, it ensures a snug fit while maintaining durability and affordability. ## Description Zippertubing's Shrink-N-Shield 4:1 EMI shielding heat shrink combines two proven technologies in a single, easy-to-install product for adding EMI shielding to your wires or cables. This product comes as complete kit with EMI shielding heat shrink and a 27 AWG ground wire. Shrink Ratio: 4:1 - 1" - Before Shrinkage 0.98" - After Shrinkage 0.26" The EMI shielding fabric is a .004" thick, woven nickel-over-copper-plated polyester-taffeta cloth that provides outstanding EMI shielding performance. The thin, woven polyester construction makes Zippertubing's Z-3250-CN extremely flexible, yet very strong, capable of operational temperatures of -45 to 347°F, and provides excellent resistance to corrosion environmental as well as degradation. The cloth has an electrical resistance of less than 0.1 ohm/square, provides shield coverage of approximately 98% and averages 85 dB of attenuation from 10 MHz to 20 GHz. INSTALLATION NOTES: The Shrink-N-Shield tubing will begin shrinking at temperatures above 195°F. A heat gun with a temperature setting of between 248°F and 284°F is more than enough to shrink the tubing. Be aware that the EMI shield cloth inside the tubing does not shrink. The tubing surface may show visible wrinkle lines and may not be as smooth as normal heat shrinkable tubing.
