Minor defect but major problem
Received the product on time and the packaging was intact. After opening the package everything seemed fine, no dings and nothing bent. On closer inspection notices that one of the four fan blades scraped on the top of the housing. Since the box and product had no indications of damage from shipping looks like the defect is straight from the factory or the build quality is so poor that the jostling from shipping cause the fan blade to mis-align.Could have fixed it but even if I spent hours figuring out where the misalignment is, figured it wasn't worth it. Even a small imbalance would cause the bearings and the motor to fail over time and any tampering would void the warranty. Depending upon the motor's rpm, would probably cause all types of problems on the roof over time, least of all the racket it would make. Just not worth it to go up on the roof, cut a huge hole, and install knowing that I will probably have to go up there within a year and replace with another unit.

Big unit, comes with thermostat wired in
This is one huge vent. Much bigger than the last one I installed. I am reviewing now because I want state that this unit has a thermostatincluded. I have to enlarge the current vent hole in the roof otherwise it would be installed by now. I will report back after it is up and runningfor a while.

Not recommended
Looked like a well built product and was fairly easy to install, problem was after only a few months the motor quit working and it never seemed to drop the temperature in the attic even though it's under the 1600 sq foot it is recommended for.

Total Junk
A little over a month after i installed it, the fan began to squeak like the bearings are going out already. Return policy is 30 days. They offered to give a partial refund if i return the fan which is attached to my roof.
