Great and versatile product!!!
This product is perfect for adding personalized sound effects to any project easily! I decided to use this device in a lightsaber hilt I was working on so that I could add sound to the saber. It was easy and stress-free to add the audio file I desired for my project onto this device. It works really well and is reliable. The soldering that keeps the components and wires connected to the PCB is well done. The speaker is compact, light weight, and produces a surprisingly clean and loud sound. You do have to supply your own power supply but it is easy to connect it and you can decide how you wish to power the ingenious module. You can upload a decently long file and if you wish to change the audio file, it is very easy to do so. It's a really fun module to play with and any project you decide to use it in is instantly improved with the addition of this device. I highly recommend this product!!

Icstation Recordable Sound Module Button Control 8M
Very good unit! It will hold any common sound file. Good and clear sound for such a small system. It is very easy to use. Plug it into the computer with the supplied USB cable - a folder will pop up on your desktop (depending on your settings in windows) - Mac it will show as an extra drive. Open it, throw the test file out, delete it from your trash and simply drag your own file onto the folder/window - done. Attach 4.5V - 5Volt push the start button and the sound plays. The unit, most likely will be at full volume. Volume can be turned down/up via the small trimmer on the circuit board, next to the on/off button cables. Important here is not to mount the speaker flush against a solid surface, it will dampen the sound and lower the volume. Rather build a small frame that fits around the speaker and is open to the front and back. Secure the speaker properly to the frame or cut-out so it does not cause any rattling at certain frequencies (small dabs of hot glue on the very outside edge will do). Also important is not to use a sound file that is recorded with a volume level that is border-line clipping. Those files will cause a distorted sound from the small speaker. Better to use a file that has a mid-range volume (can be adjusted in any software that has sound editing capabilities) and turn the volume up on the small unit. This will ensure a cleaner sound.

THIS THING JUST ISN'T WORTH THE HEADACHE! Only buy it if you are fairly tech-savvy (i.e., enough to understand this review).
I bought this because this was the only reasonably-priced audio device of this type that was available for Prime delivery. I should have read more of the reviews, because it does not include any instructions whatsoever, it requires a specific USB cable to connect to a computer in order to load an audio file onto it (I originally thought it was something where you could push a button on the device and just record onto it), it does not include the power source (i.e., no battery), and it is ambiguously triggered (the descriptions don't make a lot of sense to me because they aren't written very well). Customers shouldn't have to rely on other customers' questions to get important product information-- The seller should either write the descriptions out better or should get someone else to write this information out for them. NOTE: I ended-up making this work by powering this with a portable power bank-- I got one at Wal-Mart that had a micro-USB cable included. It cost under $10 there, but for all of the trouble this put me through, and how bulky the final set-up ended-up being, I'd say you might be better off just buying a more expensive audio player with the power source and instructions already included. The other thing I found out was that there was a track that came with the device, which kept playing after my audio file would finish playing; to fix this, I had to plug it into a Windows PC (my Mac wouldn't work) to reformat the entire thing so that it would clear all the way to it's default settings. The only "pro" about this thing is that, when rigged-up correctly, other reviewers are accurate when they say that the speaker is loud and has good sound.

Product is great. Delivery not so good.
Product is great. Works as advertised. However, when I received the delivery notice and the photo of the very light weight package on my porch I went to get it and it wasn't there. Since we had 25 to 30 MPH winds blowing at the time of delivery I went looking for it and found it on the empty lot next door heading toward the water. A little consideration for the weather conditions on the part of the delivery staff would help. Just a thought.

Great for adding music to works of art for people to listen to.
Simple, yet aesthetically pleasing to the ears, this thing puts out a good amount of sound. I'm going to use it to share songs that I've recorded with my clients that walk into my office. I'm a visual artist too, so I may have it attached to the back of a painting for added effect. It's very simple, you just plug it into your computer, add an mp3 file, solder a lithium battery to the board, charge it, turn it on, and press the button. Good to go. It's a no-brainer for my patients of all ages to figure out: 1 button makes it go. Things to note: 1. The USB port on the board will charge your lithium battery should you wish to solder one to the board. You can also power it with 5V usb via a separate soldered connection. You can simply cut a USB cord and solder the - and + to the board, then plug it into a power source, and it will work. 2. The tiny screw changes the volume. 3. Someone on Amazon told me that you can replace the speaker with a headphone jack by soldering a female 3.5mm cable to the wires that go the the speaker. I haven't done this yet, but I intend to try it so that my clients can put on some supplied headphones and hear the song. PS I love the song in chinese that came on my device. It's so catchy, I keep listening to it over and over. The song was "The Brightest Star in the Night Sky" by Escape Plan

Bitte denkt daran in Mono abzuspeichern.
