Summit makes the best, safest and most comfortable climbing tree stands on the market
I bought the Pro SD because of the new attachment rail it has and it works pretty well. You can not run your attachments around the corners only on the straights but it is a very nice feature. I have purchased more than a dozen Summit stands in my hunting career and none of them have ever failed. No I don't work for Summit........

Simple Maintenance
Cleaning the brush is so easy. I just wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it with water. The waterproof front section allows for quick and efficient cleaning.

Difficult Instructions
I like the unit, but the instructions were very hard to follow.

This stand is considerably louder than most
With more parts to this than the standard Viper, I would not recommend this climber. Also, need to add that mine had a missing nut that secures the pin that connects the cable release handle. If you are in search of making a lot of noise while in the woods, then this is your stand.
