This stuff has a subtle, delicious scent! Me, my husband, our 4 year old daughter with very long hair, and our 17 month old son with very little hair will all be using this as our shampoo and body wash from now on! Normal shampoos might get your hair clean, but they dry it OUT, stripping natural oils that keep your scalp healthy. I only wash my hair every two to three days anyway because hair that has its natural oils is so much softer and healthier. This shampoo never dries my hair out. I always feel clean, but I can still feel my natural oils. Perfect. It doesn't dry out our skin or leave a residue either. It's just perfect. Some reviewers said they don't like that it doesn't suds a lot. YOU DON'T NEED SUDS TO GET CLEAN! The SLS and SLES that are used in most soaps and shampoos to make it super sudsy strip all of your natural oils and can cause and aggravate skin conditions. It is just not needed. PS- your laundry soap doesn't need to get all bubbly to wash your clothes, either. I think if people gave this a shot for long enough, they would see such improvements in their skin and hair. Nature always knows best, and you have those oils for a reason!! I know that this formula is not perfect, as none are. There are a couple ingredients I would rather not be there, but it is a million times better than the crap we used to use.

My kids have super sensitive eczema prone skin. This stuff works great! Never causes rashes, always cleans nice, and it smells like a dreamsicle! I love it. It lathers up well and also works nicely for bubble baths. It doesn't take a ton to clean them. Their skin and hair are both very soft. My only issue is that it says that it's tear free but it still seems to irritate their eyes. However, it seems like every soap we've ever used, tear free or not, has bothered their eyes so this is far from a deal breaker.

This is the best shampoo (and conditioner) I have found with decent and acceptable ingredients to me (no silicone in the conditioner in particular). I tried a lot of other "natural" and "organic" brands that just don't work and am so glad I found this product. I am male but have "gorgeous" hair somehow (thanks mom and dad I guess!) and my GF convinced me to grow it out a few years ago. Now it's long and luxurious and I constantly get compliments from women mostly (friends and strangers) and they ask me what I do to my hair. I use this shampoo, the conditioner and that's it. I use a tiny bit of the conditioner as a "leave-in" after I get out of the shower sometimes. The vanilla/tangerine scent is my favorite, it smells amazing! I'm not bragging by the way -- I am lucky to have the hair I have, and I also feel lucky to have found this product, honestly it's a little weird when strangers tell me they like my hair. I have also been mistaken for a woman from behind (someone in a store called me "miss"!). It took a few weeks for my hair to adjust to this stuff by the way, so give it a little time. I've found my perfect balance -- I use 8 pumps of shampoo and then 8 pumps of conditioner. I started out at like double because my hair was damaged by terrible products. So ... buy this and give it a try! My only complaint, and the reason for 1/2 star off, is that it goes in and out of stock, on and off Subscribe and Save, and I've gotten like 3 shipments now that were either the wrong scent or the bottles had leaked all over the place. Amazon's return policy has helped me get replacements/refunds when appropriate so that's good -- the hassle is having to contact customer service etc. But I will keep using this despite the slight hassle, it's that good, and I haven't found anything even close to as good for my hair.

We have been using this product for six months now and we love it. The smell is heavenly vanilla with orange and does not have an overpoweringly citrus scent. It lathers very well and gets nice and soapy with just one pump's worth, so it lasts a long time. We have only had to reorder one time since we started using it. Also, we even bought the "travel" size of this line to take with us on vacation because I prefer this line over anything else we have tried for our 17 month old daughter. Our daughter loves the label of the "babies" on the bottle. She is excited about getting her hair washed so she can "Look at those babies!" I usually hand her the small conditioner while I wash her hair and she looks at it and says "babies" again and again. It's cute and fun to keep her busy while she has to sit still to get rinsed. I could care less that the product is "natural" or "organic" as I tend to think those claims are gimmicky and prey on fear, particularly with baby products. Like some of the lower-star reviews say, the chemical lineup isn't much better than something you would buy at the grocery store, and I'm okay with that. My daughter does have sensitive skin but she has never had any reaction with this line of products. Also, I have not ever had a shipping problem with this item or others from this line.

I used this on my newborn daughter twice. The first time I used it on her, she screamed at the top of her lungs the whole time. I thought she didn't like the bath/water/temperature. The second time she was happy until I started washing her with this soap so I used a different soap on her and she was happy again after a few minutes. I loved the smell of this soap so I figured since my baby daughter didn't like it that I'd use it myself. I put some on a washcloth and started lathering it on my skin and it BURNED like fire. I immediately felt horrible for putting that on my baby girl, but seriously, who would ever think that an organic baby soap could possibly feel like that? Maybe she and I have some special skin sensitivity to some particular ingredient in this soap (not likely because I've been using organic soap/shampoo for years) or maybe i got a bad bottle? Either way, i will not purchase this again and it will never come near my daughter again. Not worth the risk.
