By miles or by tanks of fuel ?** A: The bottle I believe says every 3,000 miles. But I do it every 2-3 fill ups in my VW TDI. It does say however not to overuse so use it with caution. **Q: How do you use this? pour it in the diesel tank or the dpf fluid tank? it seems to me the best way to clean would be a dpf fluid additive?** A: I had a Ford Powerstroke without a DPF tank, so I just poured it in the fuel tank.
