Favorite game
I highly recommend this game. It's my favorite! I actually bought it a long time ago. I spent hours at a time playing it. The trailer doesn't do it justice. Trust me on this, everything about it is amazing. Great storyline, cozy, drama free, yet very thrilling.

Great Mother/Daughter Local Co-op Game
My 9-year-old daughter and I have been playing this for about a month and I estimate we may be half through. It's a good long game. I can't speak highly enough of this game. First of all - I'm the main character (a girl) and my daughter gets to play to play my fully functional (other than speaking with NPCs) and utterly adorable white fluffy cat which has the cutest facial gestures no matter what she's doing - picking crops, diving for treasure, using the loom or gliding through the air. So cute. But also the game in general is perfect for us to play together in the evenings when we want to hang out and play a game together but not get all hyped up by loud mainstream games. There's no pressure in the game (other than frequent demands to be fed by our spirit guests) but there's LOTs to do and we choose what we want to do based on how we feel. There's a creative, soothing soundtrack that I enjoy and very memorable characters. The first spirit we "passed over" made my daughter cry because she adored her - but she understood the character was ready to move on and had had a full life. The game designers obviously put a lot of thought into this game and its spirit characters. And it definitely does normalize the process of dying in all the right ways for a child. I think that my daughter is learning a lot...but not through "being educated" but by the many complex and thoughtful stories shared by the passengers. The culture in the US is very negative and avoidant around dying - but we're all going to go through it, one way or another. I think this game has a fun and gentle way to share that with kids. And adults - I can't say that this is a kid's game...there is a bit of mild language here and there if a character is very upset, but nothing coarse enough to keep us from playing and honestly - a bad word here and there isn't going to hurt her - that is also part of life.I probably wouldn't recommend it for kids under 8 or 9 as there is a lot of reading - everything the passengers say is spoken in word bubbles. So, if they either can't read it or take 1 minute to stumble through each voice bubble - you might get frustrated in co-op mode and/or they'd miss out on a lot of value! I guess you can read it out loud - that could work too. There's no violence and like I said the graphics are absolutely charming.Couldn't more highly recommend! If what I wrote sounds appealing - don't hesitate to buy it. You'll have a lot of fun.

Relaxing Game, good for all ages
We (in our 40s) enjoy playing this game after we come home from work, just to relax. No surprises, no violence, and tranquil background music. The animation is very cool. Can be played as 2 player, but we prefer 1.
