## Description

desertcart.com: Arcturus Military Wool Blanket, Twin, 64" x 88", Warm, Thick, Washable | Great for camping, outdoor events, cold weather, emergency kits and cozy nights at home | 4.5 lbs, triple-washed : Sports & Outdoors

## Features

- TWIN SIZE, 64" X 88", 4.5 LB: Dense loom-woven wool blend with hemmed edges and contrast lock stitching. Big enough for two people at a campsite, tailgate or outdoor concert, or to layer on a twin bed.
- YEAR-ROUND WARMTH THAT ADAPTS: Wool naturally regulates temperature, keeping you warm on chilly nights without overheating when it warms up. It even keeps insulating when damp, so rain and dew don't ruin the night.
- 80% WOOL + 20% SYNTHETIC, BY DESIGN: Wool fibers are naturally shorter and can loosen from the weave over time, particularly with repeated washing and use. We add longer synthetic fibers to strengthen the weave, reduce shedding, improve durability, and make the blanket machine washable.
- TRIPLE-WASHED AND EASY TO CARE FOR: Washed three times before it ships, so it arrives softer, cleaner and ready to use. When it needs a refresh, machine wash cold on the delicate cycle, then tumble dry low or hang to dry.
- FOR CAMPING, OUTDOORS, HOME & CAR: Use it as camp bedding, a stadium or tailgate blanket, a cozy couch or cabin blanket, an essential for bushcraft and survival gear, or a dependable emergency blanket for your vehicle.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you get rid of that nasty smell. I have washed it four times and let it soak in white vinegar wash and I can still smells horrible**
A: ALL my merino wool clothes smell horrible while washing but it goes away after drying. It's a natural animal hair and the smell should be expected unless clothing had been treated by manufacturer. It will eventually go away after hanging in the fresh air outside a few times. Hope this helps a little.

**Q: Does this blanket have a fire retardant on it?**
A: Seller claims it's "fire retardant", which is probably just probably just a misunderstanding by the seller. Fire retardant in terms of this blanket would mean the material that would otherwise catch on fire (and melt onto your skin), has had its fibers treated chemically to be self-extinguishing. Whereas "fire resistant" in terms of cloth or this blanket means that it resists catching on fire (naturally self-extinguishes) to begin with, as in the case of wool.

**Q: Does the manufacturer state that there is no fire retardant chemical added during the manufacturing process?**
A: That’s correct. We’ve checked several times with our manufacturer and they continually confirm they don’t add any fire retardant to the blankets. Thanks for checking!

**Q: What are the dimensions of this blanket after it has been washed?**
A: As long as you don't machine dry the blanket (which we don't recommend with ANY wool products), the dimensions will remain relatively similar to how it is when purchased. Thanks for checking us out!
