Bought this for my 23yr old nephew who is so creative, intelligent & constantly coming up with amazing ideas for business & for fun. Even though I’ve seen him using notebooks & legal pads to write down his thoughts & ideas, I wasn’t sure if he would actually use a journal or think it’s ‘cool’ b/c everyone uses social media/smartphones for everything. When I saw this beautiful, leather bound, ‘vintage looking’ journal, I thgt ‘now that’s a cool looking journal’. It was different, it wasn’t a typical, generic looking journal. When it arrived, I was even more impressed at the look & quality of it. It wasn’t cheaply put together. I was worried b/c at such a good price, I thgt maybe it would fall apart just by opening it. But the craftsmanship really is beautiful. When I gave it to my nephew, he was shocked (in a good way!) that not only was it ‘cool looking’ but he loved that he could carry it w/him wherever he went & just jot down anything he wanted in something nicer than a random legal notepad or notebook! And they did a great job making it look vintage-like as well. As sturdy & well made as it is, it really looks ‘old & worn’! 5 stars for sure!!

Beautifully made leather notebook. The paper is nice and think and does not bleed thru. Made from a soft and natural leather similar to crazy horse. It wears in the same way so you’ll get a note book that looks like you had for years in just a few months with none of the stress of it being old. If you have someone who loves to write or journal or sketch or whatever they will adore it. I wouldn’t get the smallest one as it does get a bit hard to write, but if it’s your thing you’ll love it too. Thanks.

I couldn't believe how beautiful this journal was once I got it in my hands! Sucked my mind back to Sherlock Holmes honestly. LoL It's cover is real leather with thick, aged paper inside. I got the 5X7 since it's for my son and he wanted a smaller journal but I know he'll love it!!

I got the journal on sale, which made this purchase even nicer. The journal has a wonderful quality to it. The leather is extremely nice, the pages have a very rustic look to them, and the leather strap to close the journal is a great touch. For the price, this is a wonderful journal and a great gift for any writer or artist.

This was a gift for my g’son. He was very happy with the high quality and old fashioned tea stained type of paper for his writings. Shipping was prompt and packed well. Will order again.
