The holster is not cheaply made. The leather isn’t thin it’s supple. I have a Ruger SP101 and it slid in perfectly. The leather is soft as butter. My Ruger doesn’t need any break in time. Yes there is a single stitch but I don’t see where a double or triple stitch is necessary. I’ve been looking for a holster that can handle the weight of the SP101 (it’s a chunk) and this holster fits the bill perfectly.

It would get 5 stars, but it's very difficult to get a belt through it. I have to take the gun out of the holster, then struggle to get the holster on the 2" belt, then put the gun back in the holster. I thought it would loosen up, but after 1 year, I still struggle with it.

It's a good fit for the Charter Arms Mag Pug (357 Mag). The leather feels hard enough to last and soft enough not to dry out and crack up. I agree with the reviewer who said that the angle is not ideal for a fast pull, when kept at 3 o'clock, because the gun it tilted forward, and unholstering needs a vertical movement. At 5 o'clock, however, it's fine, although that's not my favorite placement. Considering the price, I am still keeping the rating at five stars, but if it were a $60 holster, I would expect the angle to be adjustable. The clip, however, feels sturdy and lasting.In a nutshell, in this case, you get more than what you pay for.
