Once again JBL does it with, with its Martian technology.

I've owned JBl products before so I didn't think I could go wrong putting this in my 22 Bronco (which notoriously has bad sounding paper speakers). It took some time to wire because I had to tap into the current speakers (which I replaced). The menu for this speaker is easy to understand although is much more complicated compared to the simplicity of a JBL Flip 4/5 or JBL Charge portable speaker. That's mainly due to its wide options for sound control. The sound is amazing and has that deep sub sound you might be looking for. I'm a sound snob so I wanted something that would put a smile on my face. It also sounds amazing when you detach it from your vehicle and use it as a stand alone speaker. It does take up some space but that is offset by it's quality sound. I highly recommend this product unless you have never connected a new sound system or product to your vehicle. Be patient with the wiring process. I'd buy it again for sure!

Compré el subwoofer porque nunca me gustó el sonido de fábrica de mi camioneta y, encontré está opción por un vídeo en instagram. Lo compré sin esperar mucho y qué sorpresa me llevé. Me lo instalaron en menos de dos horas y mejoró muchísimo el audio de la camioneta. Filtra las frecuencias bajas liberando las bocinas de la camioneta para los medios y agudos, dando como resultado un sonido más claro y más fiel. Puedes controlar la potencia de salida (Por si quieres, o no, que tus vidrios retumben con el bajo) al nivel que más te guste. Y lo mejor de todo... Lo puedes desmontar de su base y automáticamente tienes una bocina Bluetooth, portátil, full range, con 8 horas de reproducción y un sonido excelente. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Excelente sonido, sinceramente esperaba más por el tamaño del cajón, pero se oye genial y la ventaja de poderlo desconectar y hacer una bocina potable es genial. El vendedor solicite un apoyo en video y jamás lo envió de ahí en más genial. He de agregar, que si se instala desde un by pass de las bocinas es bajo su rendimiento y si lo haces desde una salida de rca directa es genial, la otra como bocina recargable suena súper potente para su tamaño, tengo un JBL encore escential y suenan casi igual de potentes

Upon receiving this speaker I and was impressed with the overall size & quality of it. The audio signal input connectors, holding bracket & wire gauge of the amp power input is good quality too. My problem is the length of the amp power wires. It's about 2 - 3 feet long with no connectors to attach to the power. The diagram in the manual shows the wire should connect to the battery. So, if you are going to put this in your trunk you will need to order some wire. For close to $600 for this product, you should have everything needed to install it. Come on JBL! I own a BMW that has the battery in the trunk & I still needed more wire to complete the power connections to the battery. After making the connection to the battery, I noticed that the harness connector that goes the back of the speaker is very weak and brittle. Be very careful when pulling this connector out. It must be pulled out straight or it will break. The harness outer shell is very strong and looks durable, but the part that actually goes into the speaker has a lot of small gauge wire connectors. This means the connector has thin walls between the connectors and will break with little pressure or excessive use. That being said, it is being sold as a device that can be taken out of the car to be used at another location. The rechargeable batteries can only be charged by the harness in the car. They should have made 2 connectors with bigger connectors that can withstand the intended use of the device. I love everything else about this sub/boombox. I would recommend this product but only to someone who can be careful when disconnecting the wire harness. Weak point is pointed out in the attached pictures

I’ve had subs in everyone of my cars and didn’t believe this speaker could provided much bass. But it will surprise you! Don’t expect ridiculous bass this speaker though provides enough bass to feel the rumble. It’s a great addition to any factory system well worth the money. Plus it’s also nice to be able to take it in the go great for the beach and tailgating since it does allow you to use as a full range speaker.
